Thanks for the review. Have the 2019 tech 10 and really like it. Alpinestars has fixed all the problems I had from the original tech 10. Good point about the boots drying out fast when they get wet. My boots stay damp and smelly especially this hot and dry summer in northeast. Had to keep boots outside, they stunk up the garage.

I bought a pair of supervented and I can attest to them staying dry. I’m down in Louisiana and while riding my feet hardly sweat at all. Any other boot I’ve had my feet are soaked. These boots are amazing.

These boot are in my wish list since before they came out!

what’s the big difference from tech 7 to tech 10? I haven’t had a pair of alpines

Was going to buy them last night but they didn't have my size in the store. Trying to decide if the regular ones will be better since I can get the colors to match my bikes (got 3 bikes, a green yellow & orange bike)

What about mud in the toe area, for me that’s the first place my tech 7’s get muddy.

Interesting. Here in the hot, humid, and wet south part of me says awesome and the other says no way. Send me a pair and I'll test them out 😉

I have one question. Why did Alpinestars go back to the old soles from the lxlll?

Is the DHCP a one time use thing?

I really want vented boots but I've heard too many horror stories about AStars falling apart in recent years, with no support by the company ("buy new ones!") Gonna have to wait a couple years to see how these hold up for people. $650 is too much to gamble with.

They need to get ride of the inner boot.

Agree I wish they were like my fox instincts with the no inner boot

maybe not so stupid for wet condition anyway, when my original tech 10 gets wet the water never comes out of them, it becomes a foot bath in Them. In these the water flows out 👍

yo i just got into motocross and picked up some used boots and looked inside and realized there wasnt any insole or inner booties. Do I really need inner booties or can i just run regular show insoles?

Compared to some of the others they are. The Tech 10, Gaerne SG12, Leatt 5.5 and Sidi Crossfire 3 are all pretty comparable. The Instinct and ATOJO are the lighter options. - Chase

700 dollars in 2024. dang i thought sidis were expensive. im going with sidis even tho i like the idea of good ventilation. bikes r an expensive hobby so i like the idea of replaceable boot parts to get better value from them.
