Sometimes I force myself to pick up the stitches and put them on hold for the second sleeve before I finish the first one so that I have more of a flow into the second one... and if the ball of yarn bothers me I just pin it or tie it to the sweater lol

That's a good idea!! Once the stitches are picked up, it's so much easier to get in the flow of knitting! I'll have to try that next time!

I love how your wedding dress and skirt are turning out. If you are going to have so much of the mohair left, have you thought about perhaps making a shrug for the wedding dress too? Your Ingrid sweater in that red is fabulous!! Have a great week❤❤❤❤

Thank you! I'm so pleased with how everything is finally coming together🥰 I have thought about maybe making something else for the wedding dress with the leftover mohair, but no specific plans yet. Have a great week!

The Ingrid sweater is so stunning, and as always my heart melts hearing about your son picking up the red skein and saying he wants a red sweater too!❤ The Carls cardigan has such gorgeous stitch definition and I’m excited that you recommend Drops Daisy so highly because I still have the sweater quantity in caramel that I haven’t cast on (thinking of using it for Rebecca Clow’s Stick Season sweater) The cabled straps on the wedding dress are such a good choice! It’s interesting how you mentioned that your gauge swatches often a larger gauge than your actual garment because I have the same thing happen a lot and so I have started taking it into account when choosing a needle size. Have a good week!

Thank you❤️ I hope you'll get to cast on your sweater in drops Daisy soon! I'm eager to hear how it works up in an adult sweater! How interesting that your gauge swatches are larger than when you're actually knitting the garment too. I think I tend to knit on the tighter side when actually knitting my garments, so I probably shouldn't size down my needle sizes😅 Have a good week!

I was working the last stitches on my bright green camisole no.9 when I clicked on your video 😀 Mine is a warmer shade but the same intensity. Can't wait to finally wear it. It was hibernating since last September when I went back to winter garments. The Ingrid will be so great! I have about 3 days left to finish mine so I can wear it once before the first days of summer will hit us. Although June is usually back to cold and rainy so possibly I'll get another chance of wearing it. I am very curious to hear you compare the Paul cardigan to the Eva once it is done. I have had my eye on it for a while.

What a fun coincidence! Green is such a good color for Camisole no9💚 I hope you'll be able to finish it in time to wear it once before summer!! June isn't that warm here either, so I think I'll get loads of use out of it this summer! I'll let you know once I finish the Paul Cardigan!

Hi Oline, you've been making such good progress on your knits and I absolutely love the Carls cardigan, the stitch definition is just beautiful! And the moby slipover, ooh i would love to be able to make one. Can I ask your advice on how you join in a new ball of yarn? I have tried a few methods but as a fairly new and inexperienced knitter I didn't have particularly great results especially with super wash wool - I tried the weave in as you go but it seems to be quite visible. Looking forward to your finished Ingrid ❤ and thank you!

Hi! Thank you! The stitch definition on the Carls Cardigan is so good, I'm definitely knitting with drops Daisy again after this! The Moby slipover is also so good, I hope you'll get to make it! When joining a new skein of yarn I either do spit splicing (non-superwash wool) or I leave about 10 cm of the skein in working on and continue knitting with a new skein, starting 10 cm into the skein. I weave in all ends at the end of the project, but I usually tie the loose ends together once while I'm knitting. I hope that's helpful!

Your wedding dress is looking INCREDIBLE 👏🏼 this might be a crazy suggestion but you could use the extra mohair for a matching veil. Maybe it would be too heavy but it’s a fun thought

I didn't really know how to work the straps! But I figured I could just continue knitting the cable I already had started on the body and make that the strap. I wanted the cable to resemble a braid as much as possible, so I Googled how to make that to figure it out😅 I'm quite happy with how it has turned out!!

@@norwegianknitter This is what experience and instinct can lead you to - I am completely entranced by the trials of various techniques on your masterpiece of a wedding dress. I think I am a competent knitter but by no means an adventurous or fearless one yet, I need the safety net of a pattern. But you are inspiring me enormously not just to keep at it but to take chances and to try new things out. If only I had a 48 hour day ;-) I will watch on with great eagerness as you work out this treasured garment. Thank you so much for your engrossing videos.
