I'm so happy! Today, I managed to clear out most of the polytunnel. Now it only needs digging, and then we can fill it! ♡
Thanks for watching! ♡

If you have the ground use it no need for grow bags i'd move the middle one out and plant it the other side of the tomatoe on the left to space them out just put taller bamboo canes in to support them they be fine and I'm glad to see you have a wheelbarrow saves lugging heavy stuff about 👍

Hello again. I hope youre doing well and enjoyed the bank holiday. I did really enjoy your videos this weekend. Great effort getting plants in the ground and ready to grow, its all looking great. Like the new tomatoes! I also use straw for strawberries and tomatoes and some paths. Im lucky to get large bales from a farm. In the summer it helps keep watering and weeds down but also stops soil splashing back on the tomatoes which can make them ill with blight. Its nothing to worry about though. I really appreciate the cost of everything and in gardening can be a worry. Wilko was really good for this but they closed, I heard the Range does sell old Wilko stock if that ever was useful to you. You have reused anything you can find around, so youre very resourceful already which is grand. Sure you will keep finding useful things and the neighbours sound kind in that regard. That apple tree is also a huge win as they can make so much food for the autumn and winter. They can be stored or cooked and frozen to last a while. Some years I have more apples than I know what to do with. Those pigeons were a real sight as well so thats an awesome and unique feature to have. Ive noticed at times some plants can give off some strong smells, sometimes it a root or leaves when disturbed. Can be very overwhelming. That said could be a mouse or something so its good to be cautious. I cant talk for others but if they only speak to diminish your experience of something like your pregnancy, I wouldnt care to much of their opinion. Its your experience to live and just because something has happened before doesnt mean its any less special or meaningful to you. You have been very humble and sincere about it. Please never feel obliged to reply, I write too much. Its really nice you respond at all though. Wish you a great week.

Hi Ollie, Thank you for taking the time to write such a long comment. I really appreciate it. I'm so happy with the news of the apple tree. Hopefully, I can start making chutney this year, and of course, they're already so versatile, aren't they! I made that comment about the pregnancy because I felt like it needed to be addressed if it was bothering anyone else that I kept mentioning it but its hard to miss now anyway as I'm quite bumpy aha. Thank you for supporting me and my channel! ♡

Im guessing it was a guy who said nobody cares about the pregnancy. I care, im sure im not the only one. You should deffo listen to your body. Our senses are all heightened when pregnant so things are going to set off your gag reflex more easily, thats normal and a goid reminder to anyone else whos pregnant whilst doing this to go at a pace thats comfortable, stop when you need to and walk away from whatever makes you retch. Plus its your vlogs, include what you want!! ❤️❤️ Youre doing amazing. You keep saying it doesn't look like a lot but i think youve done loads!! Its no small plot you have there!

I think it may actually have been a woman.. 🤭😅🙃 I don't even know at this point aha. Funnily enough, when Mr. Serenity dug up the tunnel today, I couldn't smell anything, so who knows what was going on with my nose. But yes, I'm trying to listen to my body and take things easy. I want this pregnancy (and birth) to go as smoothly as possible! Thank you for your kind comment. ♡

Not sure what your other varieties are but sweet millions are indeterminate which means they’ll grow HUGE! It’s best to put a much bigger support cane in now while they’re small rather than waiting for the plants to outgrow what you just put in. You’ll want 6-8 foot canes if possible.

There's nothing wrong with the spacing of your tomatoes, a grow bag usually takes three tomatoes and they would be much closer together in the bag, yours look just fine where they are . If you still want to move them now's the time to do it before the roots get established.

Definitely a peony. ( In my area in the US we say PEE-a nee, I've also heard pee-O-nee) Peonies can be very floppy when they bloom. If it were mine, I would place 2 or 3 canes and wrap some string around the outside to help support it. It'll look weird for the first couple of days, but it'll relax and look more natural, soon and you'll be able to actually enjoy the blooms. Rotten organic material can smell horrific, turning it should introduce oxygen, maybe add some of that barley straw to introduce more carbony material will help, too. I don't think it's any risk to you or baby, but if Mr. will dig it up for you, I would certainly let him! Those stakes are much too short, either longer stakes or I've seen people tie up their tomatoes to string on an overhead support. Also, because they are in a poly tunnel, you may need to hand pollinate. Lots of info on-line how to do that. It's looking great.

Ok Ill give you the top way for stringing toms. Put a wire between the 2 ends of the poly tunnel. (electric fencing wire is ideal.) make it tight. Then get some tommy hooks and string, hook too the wire, unhook the string then tie of on the toms just below first truss. When the plants are above the wire then you unhook some more string and layer the plants down. Bit more free advise from the pro for you. Suns back here now 74 at the moment and rising. Not before time.

I am from Canada and really enjoy your channel. I have never heard of allotments in canada what a wonderful idea. They do have garden plots here but not too many and hard to get. You would never be allowed to put fencing or any building structures on them though. Congratulations on your new baby to be. Is your daughter's real name pickles so cute or just a nic name?

Gooseberries have really sharp thorns. Big thorns. Keep it away from your path. (& let Mr Serenity pick the berries). Good call on the nauseous smell. Get out. Could easily be a dead animal. Not good for you.❤ Sweet million tomato - cherry tomato - but can grow to 79 inches. (Strange number? - over 6 feet tall : so you might need a bigger cane/support😂❤

I live by my garden my rules 👍👍 but all suggestions will be given consideration. Correct it’s not good to breath in things you don’t what they are so be careful. I put tomato cages around my peonies to keep them from flopping. Getting loads done but take it easy too. Have a fab week, Ali 🌧️🌤️🇨🇦
