The standard Ottoman hookblade has two parts, you see... the hook and the blade.

The others were cool and sexy looking but for me, Ezio's multi purpose hidden blade, connor's pivot blade, Hookblade and the phantom blade actually saved my ass alot of times ingame

imagine a material artist assassin having a hidden shoe blade, that would be so cool.

There is an assassin like that her name is shao Jun (think I spelled it right) she's trained in wushu a Chinese martial art with emphasis on kicks and acrobatic movements, she's pretty deadly too with what we've seen, if you didn't know search up assassin's creed embers that'll show you a bit about her as well as the end of ezios life.

A pivoting hook blade with a hidden pistol, blade shooting capabilities, shocking capabilities, poison capabilities, berserk capabilities, a rope launcher, and having to lose your ring finger. Oh yeah, another one for the other arm, one in a shoe, and another as a spear, and another on one arm on the top. Sounds fun.

@@derivertz. True. The Hook Blade is something for all Moms needs. I was thinking about something along the way where they uses stuff from current gen as well. Maybe one day we get a era from the 70s.

The two Pronged blade is also available in Origins - it’s one of the blade upgrade stages. Also - Ezio’s blades were extended length compared to a standard blade

There's so many innovative designs if you had access to them all it would be hard to pick honestly, all of them are so iconic in their own right, my pick would be the phantom blade. Great vid AKG can always count on this guy for reliable and knowledgeable Ac info

Standard Blade comes in 2 versions. The First outdated one used by Bayek and Altair then the Second Modified one discovered by Da Vinci for Ezio's Use. The Modified Blade prevents the cutting the of the user's ring finger, Invented by Altair.

Honestly I find the taser blade kind of cool

There is actually a lot of hidden blades not that well know if you go on the wiki. There is an Assassin in Syndicate with something called the Trident Blade, which is a three-prong from the Indian Brotherhood. A grappling hidden blade from one of Desmond's Gallo-Roman ancestor and others. I'm surprised these never made it into games, most of these unknown hidden blades are from comics or one-offs in games.

Actually in we see the ruthless blade Maria uses in one assassins creed game. Origins. When you get the final upgrade to the hidden blade bayek’s hidden blade becomes dual pronged and it looks pretty dope.

I'm pretty sure it goes back to a single blade when it's fully upgraded, one of the random upgrades does temporarily make it two pronged although there's no given reason as to why. Plus it seems like a bad design since 2 skinny prongs wouldn't do as much damage as one thicker blade and there's a pretty high chance that when they go for the main artery in the neck the prongs will miss, and 2 prongs wouldn't cut very well either since they sometimes slit their throats instead of stabbing them. It's just better and easier to have a standard blade to just stab out that whole area in the neck.

Pretty sure that ezio hidden blade with Jacob Grappling hook Will be OP in the modern day cause you literally have sneaky poison darts and blade and hidden gun and a hook , it's unstoppable

The hidden blade is different from AC1 onwards. The original game has a finger sacrifice that was even shown in game. From AC2 onwards there were modifications which became the default so the user could keep their fingers.

@@CrackerJack02 yea but Bayek cut his finger off by accident. Then it was Tahira who came up with the idea to cut off your finger to prove your loyalty to the creed so they just stuck with it. But ubisoft most likely didn't think that far ahead so they made the finger removal a thing that was newly phased out in ac 1 then never made an assassin do it until they made origins.

if i were in the ac universe, i would go for pivot blade due to it easy utility for both assassination and combat.

I'd go for a pair of shoe blades and maybe a mix of a pivot blade and a blade like the ones Ezio has.

I actually adored them all, I can put them in order of likeability. Blades: -Shock Blade -Composite Blade -Hook Blade -Phantom Blade -Pivot Blade -Two-Prongled Blade (AC Film) -Trident Blade (AC Chronicles India) -Hidden Shoe Blade -Standard -Razor-Wire Blade Upgrades or Supports: -Hidden Gun -Second Blade -Grappling Hook or Rope Launcher -Dart Gun (AC Syndacate) -Poison Dart Launcher -Hidden Bolt -Poison Blade

In Ac Odyssey you could put the hidden blade of Darius (The Legacy of the First Blade)

About ezio's blade, while the book states that he changes blades between the standard and the poison one, in the game (if I remember correctly) it is stated that it's just one blade that also has a little pipe for posion to flow through if needed, so ezio has only one blade that can be used as a poison or a normal blade.

My favorites are the Phantom blade and the pivot hidden blade

@@undeadcowboy1266 the hidden gun doesn't come with the blade it's added onto the bracer in AC2 it was something Leo built from the codex to attach it's not something that on the blade or instead of the blade same with the rope launcher

Ezio uses upgraded hidden blade, with advanced mechanism. Hook blade is the second high jump backtrack. The thing is, WE LITERALLY LEARNED IT IN AC 2. WE DO NOT NEED ANY METALLIC GAUNTLETS OR HOOKS.

You forgot ac odyssey hidden blade that darius had. pretty big miss since that was the first hidden blade that we know of.

You forgot the assassin gauntlet from ac syndicate. It has a normal blade, a grappling thing and a poison dart launcher.

I think the most practical one is the pivot blade.

also there’s the assassin gauntlet from syndicate that also has the rope launcher and beserk darts

I believe there was also a hidden blade from the Indian brotherhood that expended into a three bladed version, though I don’t remember if we use it in Chronicles : India

In revelations there’s a hook blade

marias blades are extra practical in the sense that in that time period and location, anyone who sees two holes in a body will think "snake bite"

I prefer the much lengthier ones like Altair's and Ezio's. One is they stand out much more, and two is that they can deliver much more lethal blows to an enemy. Imagine Altair's blade with an extra inch, plus a pivot blade. God, that'd look so badass

1:19 The two pronged blade was also featured in Assassin’s Creed II's concept art as Ezio would have one two pronged blade on one hand and a regular blade on the other. The final build of the game only sees Ezio having one blade on each hand as Ubisoft seemed to have removed the double pronged blade all together.

I just looked it up and she only has the Hidden Footblade on her left shoe. She didn't like the traditional Hidden Blade.

I'm in the minority here, I like the taser HB because it's all techy, wish they make a HB with heated blades.

The standard blade is in every game because Connor had duel hidden blades and they both are not pivot blades
