  they must've made it faster because of the larger scaled maps. if they kept the old slow yet realistic climbing. the game would be ungodly boring and slow. so they improve the speeds for the climbing as much as they can. but that's just a theory. a dumb theory :D god I miss matpat. :(

  People give ac3 shit but you have to applaud it for fixing almost all of the Jank that was present in the ezio trilogy. Especially in the parkour and assassinations.

  Games shouldnt be realistic, its an escape from reality and it should be primarily fun, which i find the climbing in latest AC’s way better

  Always hated the slow climbing. Even as a kid in the first game. I always thought these guys spent their entire life perfecting their climbing techniques. But it felt like they were new to the idea.

  Please for the love of God, do not for heaven sake never say Ghost of Tsushima Parkour and Stealth is better than Assassin's Creed, Ghost had a weird jumping mechanics and stealth was not satisfying as Unity/Syndicate/Origins. The only things Ghost does better than AC is Combat, world design, story, atmosphere and smooth flashy gameplay.

  I don't really get why people are complaining about this game. This is what I want a game to look like five months before it comes out. They have time to polish it, which it doesn't need much in my opinion. It's looking good to me and I cannot wait.

  10000% Valhalla best; Insane combat and map. Leveling in Origins was a pain and Odyssey didn't have the hidden blade

  As long as we can pick Naoe and completely ignore the dumdum run in and attack playstyle with the ogre and his the club I think there might be potential. But it’s Ubisoft, they’re like Disney. They’ll show you some good bits to lure you in but in reality it’s still trash. I won’t hold my breath.

  It sucks that the game won't save or trigger trophies after activating the cheats. I mean the "cheats" don't even give you Advantages. Some are pure cosmetics and others even handicap you (perma drunk) so what gives?
