I'm almost 30 lol, and yes. I do still feel way more grown up than when this song first came out though. I was such a lost soul in my teen years. Still feel that way sometimes but I feel like I can find more meaning to my life now at least 😊

this song gave me the chills the first time i heard it

this is a masterpiece . not many songs are so filled with emotion as this and as it does everyone who listens to it it speaks to me reminding me of the ones who betrayed and hurt me . its a perfect example of how it feels. and is definitely my new favorite song

It's amazing that they don't switch off the comments, people comment videos once in a while, days, weeks, months, even years, this music is really really relevant and they help so much to the fans and people in general I almost cry like a man when I listen to this one 💕🔥it's beautiful, the harmonics and the screams go so well together, the instrumental is on point and the letter is so powerful that can make the toughest ones cry

It represents the pain, when you just want to scream & fuck everything up, I think we can all relate to this song, we've all gone through or eventually will go through the bullshit lies of others

I guess in ways this song makes people think of self inflicted pain but to me this song reminds me of my late fiancee. She jumped off the PV cliffs in California. It wasn't a bad relationship, we were good to each other. We both checked into rehab for opiates, we both came out clean. But it was harder for her to stay that way, I guess she couldn't keep going. But to all the people who suffer with thoughts of suicide. DONT! You may end your pain, but you create a lot more for those who love you.

That's the art of music.

the vocals in the chorus on top of each other.... chills....

This song was so beautifully created, the strength in emotion that it has is top tier. The buildup from beginning to end is outstanding, and I'm absolutely obsessed with the background screaming vocals, I think they were genius for adding this, the lead vocals have pain, and the background scream vocals kind of mirror the pain with the anger that he also feels for being betrayed and hurt. I don't know of many bands that have done this, I appreciate it very much. This is one of my favorite songs to this day. When it first came out I loved it, but I had a hard time listening to it sometimes because of the dark place I was in. I went many years without listening to it because it would take me to that dark place again. Now that it's many years later, I have accepted things that have happened in the past and I listen to this song so often to remind me where I used to be, and where I am now. Sometimes when I listen to this song I literally have to repeat it 5 times in a row

This band never fails to impress, it's like they couldn't make a bad song if they wanted too. Love this song

I love this song, If people actually listened to the song and read the lyrics maybe they wouldn't dislike it. There is a emotion behind the song of anger,sadness and betrayal from someone,that thought they found someone special but in the end that person turned out not be so great.

This song is my life the past year. No more. Beautiful, haunting.

All that Remains is by far one of the best bands in the game. They are definitely one of my favorites.

I'm sorry to hear about that brother. I had the toughest breakup 7 years ago that put me in a bad mood for more than 6 months. I was drowning. I feel you but there's always someone better out there. This song is so awesome I just like how he expresses his anguish and pain with his soft voice and then just unleashes his rage and anger back and forth between the song its like a roller coaster ride through the transitions of emotion he expresses and it shows this as the ending result. Simply amazing song bar none and we all can relate it breaks us down just to build us back up and become stronger as a person.

Most underrated soft metal song created. The drums jason and oli are absolutely amazing.

I remember the first time I heard this song, didn't like it simply because of the music, that was before I started to hear the message within the music itself, to this day, it's a favored and loved song that gets replayed over and over throughout the day. I love pretty much every song on The Fall Of Ideals and For We Are Many, not just for the quality and skill involved in the music, but also the variety of heavier songs with more aggression and angst contrasted against the softer, more heartfelt songs. They all pull at my heartstrings (as the expression goes). Not only that, every song seems to answer a question you may have (you may call me mad, it solves a lot of my problems throughout the past year). I never stopped listening from day one.

I hear ya, This song is how I used to feel until I found a man that I never thought could give me and show me how love really is supposed to be, I have been truly blessed. and for the comment everyone has emotional problems, it is music like this that helps people get through it. People can relate.

People, EVERY band grows and changes. Every band that doesn't sell out won't always right the same song, people change subject matter. Sometimes a band will change their sound for a more refined show. Shit changes, get over it and move on like the band.

You sound like a parent. But I half agree with what you say. I stopped listening to BMTH cause I didn't like their change. So I just go back to their old stuff. But that's on me. Don't really care if others still listen to them that's great and all. I'm just doing me.

The day after my first breakup I listened to this song and I was hooked.

I keep finding my way back to this song. Which is kinda sad because I usually only listen to music I resonate with in the moment. It's beautiful but it's a constant reminder that I was never meant to be happy with somebody else.

This is such a heart breaking song and I give the band all the credit in the world for sharing such a well written and true felt heart break will all of us. I see some of the previous comments have slammed others posting, or their ex's. I guess you need to listen to it again, that is not at all what they are saying, but your comments speak volumes as to why you became an ex. So chill and learn from your mistakes. I feel your pain. I was close friends with my ex for about 8 years before we got together, never messed around or anything with each other until 3 1/2 years ago....broken up for a year now and she hates me. I didn't do anything to deserve that but it's what I got. It's hard to realize that you cannot change someone. No matter how hard you try and how much you think you love them. A mean, hateful, depressed person is going to stay that way until they decide to change for themselves.

Religion came between me and my ex. I was devastated but stood by her. Even when all my friends turned against her I remained the mature one and stood by her. We are still friends, but she still cast me aside. This song has helped me let go of the pain. Thanks ATR for being there for me.
