People so often overlook that flexibility is one of the qualities that makes a legendary band. ATR is simply moving in the direction of achieving a fuller degree of flexibility and I personally love this direction. Keep it up guys screaming or touching hearts in softer melody Ill be listening and I know your real fans will be too.

This song still gives me chills

Powerful song. Heard this after the divorce in 14. A lot of pain almost 7 years later. The kids always hurt the most. Please remember this everyone..... When you give your word to another, keep it. The vows are for a reason. The repercussions are brutal in a family situation.

Divorce sucks... been 12 years since mine was finalized, this song dredged up some memories. My kids are teenagers now but going back in my head to when it all happened it still hurts and I still miss her, you don't spend a decade with someone and make 4 babies and expect it to fade.

I love this song. It makes me think about the woman that introduced me to it. She never really knew how special she was to me because I pushed her away like I always do. 😢😢

For those wondering the song is from the perspective of the kid. I have dealt with a family like what she was going through. The song is describing the slow decay of a family and its either figure out who loves who or move on. Fighting like that not only puts a toll on the parents but the child who is hearing it. With what I have dealt with it makes it to where I have a hard time hearing others fight as it starts to make me panic. The telekinesis I dont know why that is in there, guess to show what she wants to see or have. Thats just what I have to say about it

Hard or soft, ATR is still an amazing band. Most heavy bands can't do soft, only the great one's can. Like Metallica, Slipknot, Korn, etc.. I am a die hard, true fan of All That Remains. They are awesome and badass to be able to go back and forth on Melody changes.

ATR have been one of my favorite bands. This song gives me a lump in my throat when I hear it. I love it!

I am assuming that all the people saying how bad this song is has never been a child of a broken home, or in a volatile relationship before, and as that child, wanting nothing more than to fix her parents so her world can be right again. This video gave me chills. Who cares if its heavy? It's about the message! As somebody who suffers from PTSD, I don't see music as entertainment. I see it as art, and something that I can relate to. It has to speak to me in order for me to listen. I know everybody has their own preferences, but to say it's awful is taking it a little far.

"This is not ATR", "WTF happened to ATR". WTF are you all talking about? Seriously, bands make soft songs too. Slipknot did it, Metallica did it. What's the difference? I still think they sound great and if they did just do the same kind of stuff all the time it would get so boring so it's nice to see some diversity in their songs.

All these people complaining about how ATR isn't as good as they were, have you listened to these songs? The lyrical meaning behind this album is genius. The only album I wasn't too fond of was a war you cannot win. But I still listen to it without complaints.

This is great I love the acoustic guitar work in the beginning especially and the harmonies are great progressive parts. All That Remains is very underrated

Many people are disappointed because they actually sing points instead of screaming them sometimes not but I believe his past screaming made him as beautiful as he is today with his voice. Perfect rasp, perfect softness. It’s okay to mellow out and people need to accept that

This song is absolutely beautiful. I honestly don't understand all the hate towards the song and the last few albums in general. Soft ain't bad! If they were making the same stuff over and over they'd just get boring and repetitive! I love the soft stuff arguably as much if not more than some heavier albums. That's the charm of the band! I love how flexible they are and the huge variety of songs. I can legit listen to them only and get anything you could ask for a band no matter the genre

I love reading these comments. People are saying it sucks that they changed I miss all of their old stuff. Every band tries a different type of music every once in a while. If they played the same type of music that they did prior I bet those people would start complaining they've been playing the same thing forever. I wanna hear them try something new. I personally thought they did, have, and will keep making awesome music.

Excellent song. I have the whple album on my phone and have listened to every song on it. This album has a mix of what some call the old ATR and some of the new. Overall it's an excellent album.

Reminds me of one of my dear friends. I feel like he is fading away.....from me. We used to be so close. He doesn't see how much it is hurting me. I wish he'd say something because I am sick of waiting for him to realize what he is about to lose. :( I deserve better.

This is the band that turned me onto rock. They have progressively become better and better. Great music.

Words carry weight.. Meaning. This song is deep and brings forth lots of emotion if you've been in a place.. In a relationship that produced a beautiful child and have the relationship fail. Not every song ATR writes needs to bring heavy metal riffs and screams. People who cannot get over they're quote "softer" music simply lack experiences and frankly the insight/maturity to see that music is all about how you relate to it. If you want to listen to screams 24/7 angry music you're unrealistic and out of touch. Time and place for everything. Damn good song.

Love ATR. Love their "hard stuff" and love this "soft stuff." If you're a fan, you're a fan, stop bitching about how they don't make "hard stuff" anymore. There's a pause button for you to use. Use it and go find their "hard stuff" and stop posting negative comments on here and other songs. Also, this "softer" stuff gets more air time, which means more ATR, which is great for everyone.

I just recently found out that All That Remains flew to Los Angeles to work on their next studio album, which is a follow-up to "The Order of Things", which was released last year in February. According to frontman Phil Labonte, the album will contain songs that are quite different compared to what they've done in the past. I have no idea what the music is gonna be like on that new album, but either way I'm very eager to find out what the songs are gonna be like when they release one of the songs from that album, which is most likely to take place sometime in May or June of next year.

What happened to ATR? I used to listen to the first 3 albums over and over again. especially the fall of ideals and this darkenned heart....WTF happend to you ATR :(:(

Maybe times are looking up for ATR so their music isn't as hard as it used to be? You can't and shouldn't live in a constant rage your whole entire life, there's a time for everything.
