The 42nd Sentai Lupinranger vs Patranger is the only one with a versus theme. Also the Lupinrangers (Thief Rangers) are not evil. The other theme is Phantom Thieves vs Police. The Sixth ranger has both sets of powers.

The reason why they just used SPD for the name of that season is because the letters SPD are plastered all over the costumes and mechs. So they had no choice but to use it. Plus it made sense in English.

3:55 *Fun Fact:* There’s basically an episode of Dino Thunder where that season’s Rangers watch and react to their Super Sentai counterparts, called “Lost & Found in Translation”. Explained in universe as Japan making a show based on them. It was basically most US viewers first introduction to Super Sentai.

the last one is the 45th anniversary the only human costume is based on akaranger that is the first red ranger and big one that was the leader of the second super sentai the robots transformations are based on 4 different megazords

fun fact about Toqger the main 5 members are children that got turned into adults that were chosen to be Toqgers due to their imagination. Toq 6 is a shadow (the baddies of the show) that turned into a ranger and lives inside his own megazord and the train conductor ends up as a ranger as well

The Zenkaiger costumes are references to other sentai. Zenkaizer (White) is a reference to Akaranger from Goranger. The other four are based on past robots. Zenkai Zyuran (Red) is Zyuranger, Zenkai Gaon (Yellow) is Gaoranger, Zenkai Magine (Pink) is Magiranger, and Zenkai Vroom (Blue) is Boukenger.

Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger is a celebration for the 45th anniversary of Super Sentai but also contains some references to Power Rangers. Zenkai Zyuran is a reference to Zyuranger yet also is reference to Power Rangers since Zyuranger was the first Sentai to be adapted, Zenkai Gaon has a jacket similar to the Wild Force jackets, in the first episode they used gears from two anniversary teams. Zyouhger, which was the 40th Super Sentai and Ninninger, which was the season adapted to celebrated the 25th anniversary of Power Rangers

You have RPM and Operation Overdrive backwards, but you also said RPM was the same as the Sentai. Oh no. They are extraordinary different. Go'onger is a light and bubbly dimension hopping show with Thomas the Tank engine like Mecha. RPM takes place in a Terminator-esque post apocalypse.

Lupinranger Vs Patraranger is a vs style one, so there are technically three sides, the Lupinrangers who are thieves based on the famous gentleman thief Lupin, who steal back treasures from the monsters of the series, Ganglers, meaning they are not evil, with a good segment of the series following them most of the time, due to more urgency in the plot. And then the Patrarangers, are a group of specialized police tasked with cases regarding the Ganglers. Finally the Ganglers, the best that I could describe them by is like a mafia, with each having a vault on their body to use the power of a treasure that they have inside, which the Lupinrangers try to take back.

There is one story I left out. This is Super Sentai of the multiverse.

15:06 That season got adapted into “Megaforce”. A season that most consider to be pretty weak. Although not as bad as it got when it became “Super Megaforce”. The second half of that season is despised by most fans, especially compared to its Sentai counterpart “Gokaiger”.

The openings are so different and they usually match very well with the theme and tone of each Sentai! Gaoranger came out in 2000. About SPD, I think they didn't change in PR because of the toys, SPD is printed in every Dekaranger accessory. Magiranger (Mystic Force I think is the PR version) is about magic and wizards. I think you mistook RPM to Samurai. RPM is very different from his Sentai original (Go-Onger), while Samurai is just a carbon copy of Shinkenger (and Shinkenger is really praised as one of the best Sentai until now!) Yeees, watch Gekiranger! is one of my favorites! Megaforce comes from Goseiger (angel) and Super Megaforce from Gokaiger (pirates). Soo, Kyoryuger has about 10 rangers and they dance samba when transforming! I love Kyoryuger! ToQger is about trains and it's pretty awesome! I wasn't expecting such a good series from this one, but just wow! Kyuuranger is actually the first Sentai to work entirely in space! Lupinranger Vs Patranger is about thieves and police! It's pretty cool! Now, ToQger, Zyuohger, Kyuuranger, Kirameiger, Lupinranger Vs Patranger and Zenkaiger haven't been adapted to PR!

Just so you know RPM is totally different from the japanase series Go Onger. Samurai on the other hand is just a copy of Shinkenger but american

@@bookishnerdygirl also Super Sentai has actually never done a Space themed team until Kyuranger. Megaranger was a video game/technology themed sentai which was later adapted into the states and made it space themed for Power Rangers in Space. This was done again for Power Rangers Lost Galaxy where the original team were more mystic warriors from a hidden village.

8:50 Really? Honestly RPM and it’s Sentai counterpart “Go-onger” to me are more polar opposites. RPM is more serious and post apocalyptic. Go-onger is a lot goofier in tone and centered around anti-pollution. Honestly the Power Rangers season Samurai fits that description of being a carbon copy of its Japanese counterpart “Shinkenger” more.

You can also react to the opening of "Super Sentai Strongest battle" as well. It's a 4-episode mini series about a tournament as the Sentai are splited into teams and engage in battles, the plot is simple but it's really fun with many recurring actors! Yeah you're right power ranger samurai is the worst power ranger in history. But in sentai, "samurai sentai shinkenger" is one of the best sentai series ever

Interesting as I did not know that. And she would've been a full fledged Power Rangers had she not been taken back by Ecliptor and brainwashed.

The actors in Kyoryuger also stared in an advert for Brave Frontier and hope you would watch it.Its called Yuukan Sentai Brave Frontier.

In sentai the megazords are not called megazords there called Mecha [Gosh Dang!!!!]

Go-busters have no second season , but the series have to different opening ( the only series with two different opening)

@@bookishnerdygirl The serie program block have changed in hour of diffusion for the ratings, (go-busters have pour ratings) and the show gain a new opening for boost ratings but failed. Go-busters is one of many séries whi not have a big success/ ratings in japan

Kinda surprised you didn’t recognize Go-busters and Ryusoulger. As those two seasons just recently got adapted into Power Rangers by Hasbro. As Beast Morphers and Dino Fury, to be more specific. And yeah, the toy company Hasbro owns Power Rangers now. Believe it or not Disney owned it at one point, from Ninja Storm up to RPM. A part of me isn’t surprised you didn’t recognize Magiranger/Mystic Force. As most of the fandom I’ve seen so far don’t talk about Mystic Force much.

@@bookishnerdygirl Yeah, that’s understandable. I’ve lost track of certain long time shows for a while too. And seeing you tackle the comparisons between Power Rangers and Super Sentai would be neat. As I’ve seen some people online make some side by side videos showing how Power Rangers can utilize the Sentai footage. And certain seasons can get quite creative with it. The most notable one I’ve seen is someone on KZread and Dailymotion called “rangersentaiguy2”.

I stopped watching when it reached RPM, because they made the light-hearted theme of the original to an edgy knock-off. So hard to take it seriously because the Zords have faces, in the Sentai Counterpart, the zords have faces, because they could talk, they have character. In RPM they pretty much muted the zord talking scenes. Which was real freaking weird. Same with Samurai, they didn't even have the balls to cast at least an Asian for the Red Ranger role. Which made the whole show look like weeb trash. A fan-concept of Samurai/Shinkenger was posted on a PR forums that was infinitely better than the Show had. Basically it involved the Red Ranger originally from 15th century Japan, transported to the future western town and the plot involved a fish-out-of-water/Lost in Translation type of story for the red ranger. And then while he slowly adjusts to the lifestyle, his enemies from the past followed him to the future, and needs to acquire the help of his friends to take up the mantle of the Samurai Ranger. It's a really freakin' good premise. Shame the whole potential of it was squandered.

America didn’t steal anything, An American Company and a Japanese company made a deal that america could adapt super sentai. Adapting a series means to take the elements from the super sentai show including the suits, weapons, villains, or story and making it their own. Rip off: no, but not better than super sentai, thank you!!

Super sentai is more childish compare to power ranger, but fon't get me wrong their story getting better and better from 30th sentai(boukenger) but in the other side power ranger getting worst and worst than super sentai from "over drive"
