    Hey, Angela- Why are you giving out your address? Hoping someone will send you presents? Just my opinion, but that seems kinda dangerous. Someone might rob you, or think you're cute, and decide to follow you around for a year or 2... There'r already lots of predators out there, _without_ making yourself a target. :)

    Gotta go honesty is golden! Yea I’ve worked in the food industry at various places for probably a total of 2 yrs. favoritism and bullshit usually gets the best of us! There’s always the favorite waiters that get first pickings, favorite chefs that get most hours, and thirsty ass people who jump to the first hibachi table. You probably have the skills to open your own fking hibachi place lol...and that’s what it will take if you still have the passion.

  • @gottago9824

    @gottago9824

     @Sunny Bizzle lol- yeah, some favoritism and drama kind of come with the territory in the food industry, my case was waaaaaay out of hand. Once I made a $200 personal tip on a table and then the head chef took my weekend shifts away. The same head chef also told me I couldn't do certain table tricks because "the rest of us don't know how to do that stuff and you are making us look bad." I had shares of credit card tips stolen from the tip pool, hours cut, and given the shitty shifts. The last straw was when the head chef tried to write me up for taking to long to cook a table while that asshole would take twice the amount of time I ever did. The owner Jerry Yang (dude won some poker world tour tournament in the 2000's) was a jerk to work for and pretty much let this head chef do whatever he wanted unchecked. Don't even get me into the racist shit I had to deal with being the only white guy working in a practically all asian staff. My nickname given to me by the staff was the Laotian slang name for white man and I didn't know until years later. lol I bounced, the place closed less than 6 months later. Head chef was found sexually harassing waitresses and stealing money. Anywho, stepping off my internet soapbox. lol I have TONS of stories from rocking tables!

    Gotta go Hahahaha wow! Sorry you had to deal with that...some folk just need to live in a 3rd world country for a bit to realize that life could be worse. I mean wtf is $200...just a couple days more of work...and the chef flipped out? Money can bring the jealousy out of people real quick hahaha. People just need to wake the fk up and be a little more genuine rather than greedy. Obviously you were offering handys under the tables to earn that extra $200! Hahahahahaha jk
