Even though it DID use a pumpkin in the title sequence, I guess you'd consider it the black sheep of the title sequences.... Since the first three sequences match up to the later three sequences in more ways than one.....

I’ve always loved the Halloween 2 1981 theme, sinister, aggressive and good use on the synthesizer

The Ends intro is strangely subdued, yet it takes something from almost every intro that came before it, and might just be the best one

The opening credits of Halloween Ends are very cool especially when five different pumpkins begin to emerge one by one.

The original is a classic, but Halloween 2’s intro and theme is my favorite. It just sounds so creepy and sinister, especially with the reveal of the skull 🎃💀

I have always liked Halloween 2 1981 theme the best. I like that gothic feel to it especially withe the piano organ.

I do like for the new trilogy they used the coexistence fonts for the opening logos. 2018 used the font (and pumpkin) from 1978,kills used the font from Halloween 2,and ends used the font from Halloween 3

The first intro is definitely the best one. Not only does it involve a real, lit up pumpkin, but it also features the knife-shaped silhouette that Michael Myers bears.

Somehow Halloween 2's scores are even more terrifying than the first one's in my opinion

One thing the new trilogy got right was the opening credits

Halloween 2 was so badass

Though I did not like Ends, the opening credits and the beat of the Halloween theme is epic

The original from 1978 is still the best

Nice montage -- each has its own spooky charm ... but nothing beats the original. The last few look like video game images.

My only real complaint about the openings of Ends is that it is clear that the pumpkins are now CGI, which is really jarring when you compare it to 2018, which clearly uses a real pumpkin, and even Kills, where I can't tell whether they used a practical prop or CGI.

@@officialmonarchmusic please check some out, some good examples like walten files and the Mandela catalogue. It’s sorta like found footage yet so distinct that it’s it’s own.

I really hope Ends gets some sort of producers cut. Man, I’ve got some great ideas for that!

I have to agree. I like it, but if it had been sped up I think it would have been much better, particularly with the pumpkin splitting open at the end. It is cool, but it wears out its welcome fast

HALLOWEEN ENDS Finish JLC timeline. ROB ZOMBIE (with alt end.) Restart the story. HALLOWEEN IV Jump back to Dr. Loomis timeline. HALLOWEEN V Get the first viewing of new killer. HALLOWEEN VI PC Realize the full evil Tommy and Dr. L. face. HALLOWEEN III Finish with the unrelated story.

@@stevenriley9312 Well, because neither R or the 2nd RZ are worth my time. We all love "Ghostbusters" (1984). Some of us like GB II (1989). A lot of us like "Afterlife." I don't anyone who likes the 2016 film. Most of us love INDIANA JONES (1-3) ROTLA, TOD, and TLC. Some people I know were able to tolerate KOTCS. But not a single person I knew liked DOD.

U forgot the title credits for Halloween 5 there's a Jacko lantern carved up by michael himself using his knife

Halloween 5 has an intro credit of a different style than the ones shown here. These are just the opening credits that reflect the style of the originals opening credits if that makes sense.

Even the way they did this for the new movies conveys exactly the aberrant mindset which produced something totally distinct from what was done for the other movies that has no place in the Halloween franchise. I do LIKE the Halloween Ends one, but it doesn't fit that movie, much less John Carpenter's Halloween. To quote "Clem"/"Gert B. Frobe"/Anthony Benedetti from one of the last good natured movies ever made, prior to the plague of inundation with exactly the kind of stuff DGG makes, which has not subsided and shows no signs of stopping, "It's the wrong tone".

In my opinion Halloween 3 is the worst because Michael is not in it
