Great video. Gundam 0083 doesn't get enough respect. basically the MOVIES (Char's Counterattack, F91) and U.C. side stories (0080,0083 & 08th Team) are my favorites. the orignal 3 seasons (MSG, Z, ZZ) are great for their time. they represent anime history. Zeta was a turning point for the franchise but the movies & side stories set the stage for what the franchise is now.

Gundam Zeta is the best Gundam Series in Universal Century in my opinion.

Correction CCA did revolutionized the MS designs and Ship designs provides a lot of staples. I mean NU Gundam exchoes in alot of later Gundam series for example. Even it's written part Hi Nu Gundam it's design is apart of alot of MS designs also.

CCA is not that great. Over the rose tinted goggles the original saga could have had a better conclusion.

Although I agree with most of this list, sadly we can't exactly fully judge Hathaway yet, as the first movie was just the prologue of the trilogy that is Hathaway's Flash. As it may have had a few issues as a movie (mostly the animation of some 3D elements being a bit choppy around the sea near the end and when Hathaway was on the boat), story-wise, and animation as a total for me was top-tier. As a 'prologue', it did a good job of introducing its characters and I am certainly excited to see how this will turn out. Overall, really good tier list, and I am biased towards Narrative because best MS Girl (Phenex), so I am not going to argue about it.

I like Narrative also. I don't rate it highly. Has good concepts, but it's all done rather poorly the execution and is very flawed.

The concepts are great. The MS designs are great A packs is interesting good for customs and pretty great ideas. B packs has again interesting design and ideas for it's usage. C packs is discount Unicorn I think the weakest out of the bunch imo idea wise. Still good for lineage wise of where it went and bridged Nu Gundam and Unicorn. Phenex is lovely and is Unicorn. The Jestas great too and Sten. MS designs are great. I wish the rest was done way better though interesting concepts just so poopy and rushed It feels like.

How dare you not add Turn A Gundam! 😂

14:27 🤣 U.C. isn't my _cup of tea_ but I can appreciate how hardcore some fans can get. So making a U.C. tier list must've been really tough.

My own list: S-Tier - Gundam Z, Victory Gundam, Gundam 0080, Hathaway's Flash, The Origin A- Gundam, Gundam ZZ, Gundam 0083, MS Igloo Hidden OYW/Apocalypse, Char's Counterattack, Gundam F91, Turn A Gundam B-Tier Gundam 08th MS Team, Gundam UC, Thunderbolt, Gundam Evolve, Cucuruz Doan's Island C-Tier Gundam Narrative, G-Saviour, MS Igloo 2, Gundam Frag, Gundam 0081 OVA D-Tier Twilight Axis (film) E-Tier Twilight Axis (ONAs) I made an exception with two entries for Twilight Axis because the quality of the original episodic release was so abysmal. The film version does better starting with one minor change: it actually depicts the events in order! Also, I didn't finish watching G-Reco and at this point I think I will rather wait for the 5 compilation movies, so I'll reserve my judgment for that. Lastly, I think Gundam Evolve could deserve a tier list of its own, and by that I mean that each episode is essentially its separate thing, and my score for it here is more of an average. Quality is all over the place and some episodes are more... abstract than others. There's also the fact that some episodes aren't even U.C. The two Gundam Frag OVAs (imagine Tik Tok in U.C. and you might get a good idea of what to expect of it) included with the blu-ray release of Gundam ZZ could be thrown with that lot too.

Had a long think and the Gundam the Origin films and the original MSG movie trilogy are the only entries I'd rank S tier

Stardust, WIP & 08th are the holy trinity of the UC

It took about two and a half minutes for me to realize that this a comparison of the series and OVAs, not of mobile suits.

personally, i think zz should be split in two because the first batch of episodes is pretty much kinda a comedy but the other halfs and near end are just pure cruel and hardcore.

the next video you do should be to compare Alternate Universe GUndams. i don't like AU's so much but if i had 2 pick one - it would be g gundam and seed/seed destiny

MSG 0079-A MSG 0079 (MOVIE)-S MSG 0080-S MSG 08TH MS TEAM-A MSG ORIGIN-S MSG ORIGIN CDI-C MSG 0083-S MSZG-S MSZZG-C MSG CCA-B MSG UNICORN-A MSG F91-C MSVG-B G-SAVIOUR-D Turn A Gundam-A These are my opinions, sometimes great animation and music can't compensate for a dull story or annoying characters. Can't pass a full verdict on Hathaway's Flash as it's not done yet. I also counted Turn A Gundam as everything is supposed to wrap up with Turn A no matter what. I gave Doan's Island it's grade cause if you're not up to date with 0079's story to this point this movie makes little sense to the casual viewer. My girl actually ended up not liking Amuro, saying he seems like the last person you'd hand a gun. When I explained the whole thing to her about the missing episode story and this being a fuller telling of it. She simply asked, why not redo the entire series rather than one random episode? I kinda agreed with her about that.

Yep Unicorn is super overrated. People tend to put it higher bc it was the first UC shiw after a long time and its half decent, but it has WAAAAAY to many flaws.

The unicorn series it’s like everyone watched the new generation series cuz the before gundam anime animations are old school but until unicorn appears the animation became advanced

Awww....Come on you give Gundam ZZ a B. In my opinion it should be on the C or D spot and Char's Counterattack on A lol. I definitely going to stay away from Gundam ZZ and Ingloo since it not that good and definitely not on my radar. Probably don't need those two to actually get some kind of serious backstory.....You are truly CAPPING if you put in G savior at B. That should have been way at the bottom of the tier. And it wasn't really that much Gundam action in it and the acting is very bad.

interesting tier list. i couldn't stand ZZ and gave up after a few episodes. i like Z too, but it's too long. the original is too old for me - the art quality is crummy and the music sounds old. i never saw the recent ones - i didn't know they still made UC after 08th MS team. i did hear about hathaway, but i hate him cuz i think he should have been executed for killing chen in char's counter attack. i'll check the newer ones out when i have a chance. personally, i think the movies & short series are the best cuz they're short - even if they suck, you only suffer for a short while. the long series like Z etc. are just too long. i like Z, X, and wing, but i've never watched them again cuz they're too long. instead of a tier list, i think you should just rank them instead considering you didn't put anything into D or lower. it would be helpful for people like me who are trying to decide which one to watch first - when you put multiple series into one letter, it's a little hard for me to decide which newer one i should watch. just some food for thought.

All of them are S tier. Oh by the way you forgot G-Reco.
