That was good, the audio was just about spot on. I wish you were able to do the entire movie series, I've always liked the voice actors they picked for the Zeta Gundam dub.

+MarsGundam Really? I despise the voice actor of Camille with all my heart! I grew up with Swail as Quatre in Gundam Wing, and he clearly is a professional voice actor in all of his performances, so no problems on that account. Others are ok, but no one can hold a candle to the original japanese voice actors.

I'm a Japanese.so I hard English voice first time. I like kamille's voice.

Gotta love how Char swaps voice actors.

It's amazing that Zeta got the cameo appearance right...And Seed Destiny, so many years later, fucked it up so much. I like how understated Amuro's appearance is, and he doesn't go on to dominate the show. In fact, he only ever gets two Gundams: One at the start of his career, and the other at the end of his life.

Yeah they did just enough with Amuro and kept him on earth, so it made me want more of him but also let me enjoy the new cast. I really enjoyed having char as a protagonist

Yeah instead we get Katz shoved down our throats until almost the very end, it’s great that Amuro disappeared from the show though he would have ended up like Char a jobber outclassed by seemingly everyone

Zeta Gundam was definitely one of the very best Gundam animes. I was a huge fan, but I really hated what they did with the New Translation movies. They took the cheap way out when it came to animation, it seems so tacky to me when one segment will be all original and the next looks like a completely different series. Maybe I'm just too picky.

2:01 Brad Swaile's voice during the scream was more like Setsuna's than Amuro's--provided that he voiced both Gundam protags.

With all the advanced technology that the Universal Century has, you'd think that freighter windshields would be made out of something other than regular glass.

I know you prefer the subs, but this is just brilliant. I've never even seen a UC Gundam series outside a handful of Mobile Suit, but the scenes and dialogue match up beautifully. Everything is filled with depth and fits perfectly (with very minor things due to the voice). Really, congratulations.

The voice for Amuro and some of Char were the voice actors for the original Gundam and Char's Counterattack

I have the original Zeta series on dvd, this is very close sync to that's english dub. great series!

In the TV series, Kamille was mentally disabled by Paptimus Scirocco and was left in a semi-coma at the ending, but he regained his senses and woke up in the middle of Gundam ZZ. However, in the movie compilation, A New Translation, Kamille was okay.

That was awesome, Amuro and Char's voices were spot on IMO, and Camille's was great. I know its not liked by many, i do prefer english dubs over subtitles, however only if they're good. (i.e. Unicorn and Wing) I can keep up with and enjoy subtitles, but sometimes it can be distracting from the action.

I’m ok with it I’m gundam. It makes no sense for any of these characters to be speaking Japanese. I think hayato is the only Japanese character and he grew up in space. More than likely they really would be speaking english

Wow, after I started watching this I forgot that you said that the dubs weren't official. You did a perfect job!!! I never recommend people watch dub over the subs since the dubs don't usually capture the moments as well as the japanese seiyu, but the way you stitched this together is just perfect!! Nicely done, I know it may be too much to ask, but can you do it for all 4 movies?

@GundamGuy10 Ahhh that is true... my mistake. My point being, that as far as the the MS pecking order is concerned in 0087, the Mk.II is outclassed by a lot of the subsequent titan models.

Wow, you did a great job with this video, I was convinced it was an official English dub for this version of Zeta.

Char sees Amuro as a rival that gives him purpose.

I was pissed hearing the English dub missing something of the literal verbiage used in the Japanese dub, but its a fan dub/experiment so I'll let that shit pass. But I do love the english Char & Amuro.

I wish they would dub this entirely, nice job.

Funnily enough most of the Gundam English dubs made for America were dubbed in Canada, including both the original Gundam and Zeta Gundam, though by different dubbing studios. :D Though this was VERY well put together, a pity these guys didn't actually do an English dub, but hey at least the movies had a DVD release in America, that's better then nothing. :) Once again great job on the editing. :)

I may have commit seppuku for my mistake. Should I falter, I need you to finish it by taking my head....

I wish the movie version was dubbed in English.

damn it i really thought there was an english dub to the zeta gundam movies!

@Salvysahagun Ultimately that is hard to say since 1. They are fictional; no evidence to prove or disprove that 2. as we have seen it is the pilot that truly matters not the machine. As I understand it, the Mk.II is just a training model based off the RX-78-2; so in the grand scheme probably not that great. The Hyaku Shiki is actually just an unfinished proto-type. Now, the Ashimar was a new and complete model that is a transformable mobile armor, specializing in close and ranged combat.

You did a great job I really hope bandai decides to release this dubbed into english some day.

I've started dubbing the first Zeta Gundam movie... but it's taking a long time cause of my high school (they give a lot of work to do)... I've done only like 3 minutes of dubbing though =D It's the original voice actors and I'm doing this all myself... so yeah it's gonna take a while... but I guess it's worth the wait =D

@Salvysahagun Superior mobile suit; not too mention Quattro and Kamille were hesitant to fire for fear of shooting down their own carrier (the audhumla). Buran was a damn good pilot; Amuro simply caught him completely by surprise... then later mopped the floor with him in a Rick Dias.

That was a great job I hope they can dub this in the near future by the ocean dub The only problem might be that Kamille's voice actor might have to change!!! and for the rest that were fresh faces to the show idk maybe Henken's voice will be the same since i here him a good deal to did day but otherwise awesome job man!!!!

hahah sorry im just kidding....this zeta movie have 3 parts....and this one is the second....they try to remake zeta with good pic...so they compile all 50 series into 3 movie with diffrent fate...since many people hate when camille turn into crazy pilot in the end...in this movie camille will survive with good mental and physic....and they throw any unusefull scene from it...

@ThePlaidman1985 Yes good catch... As I was going through and looking for bits of dialogue that would work, that was my best option so I took it. Also I could never really find a good line for Amuro when he sees the Mark. II. There are a few other things in here that still bother me to this day, but as stated in the description, it is just an experiment and is far from perfect. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Remasters is good however there a lot of loop holes, even the wikipedia admitted too

@Gojirafan101 Actually I used both. I like the performance on the original guy (MSG and CCA) but it would have been pretty tough to get him to do all of it so I used a bunch of the guy they got from zeta too.

Well X is so fiercely hated by Sunrise that it will never see the light of day. Really I don't understand why they decided to close Bandai even when the head of the US division was talking about how Unicorn was the closest they'd come to recreating the hit that Wing was.

I'd rather have dubs than fansubs with "kisama-tachi", "that yatsu" "enemy-san" and "yarou" all over it.

yo is that original MSG dub Amuro mixed in with the Zeta audio? based for that, I love MSG's dub for Amuro/Char but the rest of the Zeta dub was pretty good. one of my favorite scenes from the movie too.

Late response but, Thank you thank you.I dont know how many times ive said that myself.This and gundam x among others i never understood why these didnt get an official us release.American branches of japanese companies need a huge facelift js.

They seriously have to dub this thing already. Some one storm into Bandai's HQ and slap some sense into these guys.

This wasn't an official English dub. The maker of this film synchronized the audio of the English dub over the scenes and included Brad Swaile's sound bits to make sound like a legit English dub. But, my guess is that he googled sound clips from the English dubs.

Respond to this video... I ALWAYS FELT THAT ZETA WOULD BE MORE EXCITING IF IT HAD BETTER QUALITY!!!

@Loz8900 Honestly though... there is some emotion and intention in the quality of the Japanese voice acting that is lost with the English dub (in most cases). However I really prefer having both. First time, I always watch the dub; get the translation down perfect and truly understand what is going on. With that framework I always watch it subsequently with the subs.... I find it very enjoyable this way.

Although for an instant you can hear the Michael Kopsa Char voice. While Kopsa is a good Char, I actually liked Tom Edwards a little bit better because he sounds really close to Shuuchi Ikeda.

Actually it's said that during Double Zeta Amuro is fighting in space and has his own Zeta Gundam which is white. Too bad we never get to see that though.
