i watched this video with my brother for the first time back when we were kids and it's recently become something of a tradition of ours to rewatch it together every so often-i'm so glad it hasn't been deleted because it honestly brings back so many fond memories for me. genuinely thank you for making it and for helping me bond with my younger brother

I remember watching this so much as a kid! This was the video that taught me that there were even more Godzilla monsters outside of the video game, "Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters Melee." That game got me hooked on Godzilla. The video game was the only form of Godzilla I knew. Years later, I discovered the internet and came across this nostalgic video. I remember when this video shifted to Mecha-Godzilla 1, I put a weird face because that's not how he looked in the video game. Then it got to Kiryu and I freaked out because I've never seen anything like it before in Godzilla! From there, this video kept fascinating me with all these other monsters. I started searching other Godzilla videos, saw some fights, and became such a huge fan! I made a dumb comment on here years ago. I had no grammar and I couldn't spell anything correctly lol. Good times.

I love Titanosaurus for some reason, but GIgan was always the most badass!

It's how they differentiate between the two. The American film is widely lambasted as being terrible both by critics, and by Godzilla fans. So as a way to separate the two, sort of saying "See, they aren't really the same one!" they made Zilla canon, gave him a different name, and had old Godzilla kill him in ten seconds flat. It was partly to give the two separate identities, but it was even more a placating move to please the fans, recognizing that they disapproved of the Zilla remake.

It was a crossover film in the 60's. King Kong was so huge in America and Godzilla was already iconic in Japan so a movie titled King Kong vs Godzilla was made to unite the Japanese and American monster movie fans under a single film. The crossover was so successful it grossed more than any other Godzilla film to date. The movie led to the making of crossovers of other American monsters and continuation movies for them. King Kong vs Godzilla also inspired the scrapped movie, Batman vs Godzilla.

Actually, Godzilla Millenium (or Godzilla 2000 as it's more widely known by) was made in response to the U.S. Godzilla movie. There actually wasn't going to be another Gojira movie for some time, but after the Japanese cried out over Zilla, they decided to shoot another movie.

For its appearance in Godzilla: Final Wars producer Shōgo Tomiyama (who took charge of the franchise following the death of Godzilla's creator Tomoyuki Tanaka) and Final Wars director Ryuhei Kitamura renamed the creature "Zilla."[5] They felt that the Hollywood remake had taken the "God" out of "Godzilla" by portraying the monster as a mere animal. The "Zilla" name and design has since been trademarked by Toho Co. in other word "zilla" is one of Godzilla's newest lightweight punching bags. ha

I know these 2 only showed up in the video game, but they are rumored to be in the upcoming movie. Krystalak and Obsidius. Both brothers. The new 2014 movie was confirmed that Godzilla would fight 2 monsters, soooo...

Actually Gezora was a squid that walked ,Oodaka was an octopus who just kinda oozed along, (who unlike Gezora was actually an octopus not a guy in a rubber suit..........for most shots in his brief appearance.

It's as Goldenkitten1 said, but let me add that you may also see the US version, Zilla, being called GINO, which stands for "Godzilla in name only". Thought it would be good for you to know that, since that nomenclature is widely used among fans.

Dorats were used to explain how King Ghidorah came to be. They're genetically engineers creatures from the future, that were brought back by some shady Americans (obviously from the future) and were left when they traveled back further in time, and left the Dorats where the radiation fallout that created all the monsters was at. They three then fused unto one giant monster (King Ghidorah. Watch Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah. It's all in that movie.

gezorah didn't appear in any godzilla movie ( the stock footage in final wars is not Canon ), bagan only appeared in one game and this video is about monsters who appeared in Godzilla movies, wolfman is not canon because it was from a fan film that is not canon, hyper mecha king ghidorah is from a tv show and this vid is about monsters who appeared in g movies, desghidorah is from rebirth of mothra which is totally separate to g movies, godzuki is from a cartoon and this video is about monsters who appeared in g films, gojirini is from a tv show cartoon which is not canon to the movies, Charles barley is from an ad not canon to the franchise and it is just an oversized hooman not even a monster, gamera is from a different franchise and the play in Tokyo is not canon to both franchises, prehistoric ghidorah is from rebirth of mothra 3 which is totally separate from the g franchise, grand king ghidorah is the same as king ghidorah in the Japanese version of the movie and the English dub they call it king ghidorah heck in the Japanese title of the movie is "mothra 3: king ghidorah attacks" or "mothra 3: invasion of king ghidorah", zone fighter is a ultraman rip-off tv show and this video is about monsters who appeared in g movies

He wasn't in a different form. what you saw on him were just the affects of all the radiation in his core going critical, and causing him to slowly increase in temperature until his eventual meltdown. He was still in the same form as before. Picture having rashes all over your body. You're not in a different form of yourself, you're just seeing the affects of whatever is causing the rashes
