This game had so much potential. It’s got the monsters, the charm, but it failed in execution. We DESPERATELY need another Godzilla fighting game!!! I’m here after Minus One (10/10 masterpiece), and it just proves even more how much we need a new Godzilla game :(

Theres actually a roblox game which is pretty cool. Its very well made and has good fighting mechanics. Its called kaiju universe.

I’d want a sequel to this with modern graphics, but it would need a sandbox mode without the time limits and all

Yes Mechagodzilla 1974 especially had me so happy and impressed the first time I saw it. Love mecha king ghidorah, destroyah, and Angirus entrances too.

You know they could reuse these intros and character models for a fighting game, then we’d be all set. Even add more characters as DLC.

Making a list of what I think a sequel would have for characters after I rewatch this to put in all these Kaiju. Will post the list in comments when I’m done. Comments on the game though, I didn’t know it existed until a few days ago and I love it already. Classic monsters being represented, amazing soundtrack, the movements of all the Kaiju feels so similar to their original appearances, and the classic sound effects are awesome.

Fair point about Destoroyah. Although, to be fair, I think the unique line for Destoroyah was given to him because fans see Destoroyah as one of Godzilla’s most dangerous and evil foes and the fact that, similarly to how Godzilla was used represent the Atomic Bomb, Destoroyah was used to represent the Oxygen Destroyer.

Well, according to the novelization of GvD, it took the effort of Godzilla melting down, and the extreme freeze to kill Destoroyah, plus Destoroyah is one of the only Kaiju to, as the lady puts it, "take down Godzilla" when you have a track record like that, you are going to have to fear him, plus the military only took him down because he was fighting BURNING Godzilla, aka the most powerful form of Godzilla, and even then, Destoroyah was actually making BG bleed and, in the novelization, breaking off a piece his back spikes and severing his tail. To say that the military took down Destoroyah is extremely misleading as Burning Godzilla did all the work, all the military did was freeze Destoroyah, it was the meltdown that killed him

I'd love a game that went through all the Godzilla movie eras and you got to play through all the movies, heck you could have a Monster Land (Monster Island) as a side thing to keep players coming back, as they could make a larger island, or a second one to watch the world's monsters in their natural habitats. And have some mixed game play to "change" endings of battles, movies, or the out look of the monsters. It could be a bit open world, with you taking control of JDF vehicles like planes, tanks, maser cannons, boats, and other captured crafts or repurposed "alien" weapons. You could also take control of a human character to do stuff in the back ground, and give you that Godzilla movie feel, so that your actions can either help or hurt Godzilla or other monster. I'm sorry, but that sounds like a cool and interesting Godzilla game to me.

there were going to be more monsters(king kong being one of them) but they ran out of time

I like it

Only if you hunt down a physical copy it got removed of the psn store a while back and physical copy’s aren’t cheap either mind you

My ideas for DLC: -Baragon 2001: •Would be somewhat similar to Anguirus, but would still have a different moveset. Would have his own theme titled “Vs Guardian monster”.

Baragon’s attacks would be as follows: -Basic attack: Throws threw punches at the enemy. -Heavy attack: Will batter himself at the ememy. -Special attack: Breathes his signature fire beam.

I still wish they added Fire Rodan as a playable character. I'm glad they added Showa Rodan though.

It’s not selling anymore and on eBay its like $400 But there will be another Godzilla game coming out soon

We need shin godzilla dlc

i actually liked this game for the most part and hope there's a sequel where it's improved and of course more monsters, they could add more things to do, sad the people didn't truly want to give it a chance because it wasn't like save the earth/destroy all monsters

My favorite is battra

I remember playing this game with my friend when we were young (we still are) and I’d control attacks he’d control movement. We sucked and always got destroyed by hedorah

If Zilla was in the roster, I think he’d/she’d be for the more strategic players, considering that he/she is a strategic kaiju, which is most apparent if you’ve read the IDW comics.
