Matthew What you say is not only necessary, BUT IS WANTED BEYOND BELIEF! This type of game, with modern graphics, and a whole ROSTER of either American or Japanese Kaiju, either TOHO, Legendary, or Original, would be the most amazing thing today. The only thing that was close to what we could’ve gotten, which is good on its own but not that well compared to Godzilla Unleashed or Godzilla STE, is Gigabash.

I’d say a new Godzilla game that’s a combination of save the earth and unleashed, cause the gameplay for save the earth was solid compared to unleashed.

0:57 This sound Induces Pstd cause you would be playing story mode in the city level and all the sudden just hear the sound of Kiryu charging full speed towards you. And this was from offscreen and even playing as Godzilla hearing that sound just induces a fear response lol.

Pretty crazy to think that Destoroyah which arguably is the most broken Kaiju in the game is already playable from the start as part of "starter" Kaiju. Good thing there's atleast some Kaijus that can counter Destoroyah's weapon based attacks, with the most notable one being Mechagodzilla (Showa).

Destroyah was a starter for you?! I grinded Godzilla(2000)'s story 28 times to get enough points to unlock him!!!

@@jdreamerg Dunno about you. But I've checked website and vid about how to unlock characters in Godzilla Unleashed, and Destoroyah is not part of the unlockable characters.

A new godzilla battle game needs to be made and include most variations of Gojira himself. Including newer ones like legendary, shin, minus one, and hell godzilla.

Would love a modern entry into the franchise that adds the monsterverse, zilla, and possibly minus one, singular point, and shin.

Loved this game, miss it so much

I still have this game right here in my room just waiting to be played again on my WII console. It's easily my favorite classic video game, and I have yet to find someone to play with.

Unleashed for PS2 was a disappointment. Really thought when it came out the characteristics and fighting abilities where going to stepped up a notch like Wii. Boy was I wrong.

What pissed me off with the PS2 version is that none of the unlockable monsters from the Wii version were in it. It did have Battra as an exclusive, but that's it.

This is exactly why I got the Wii version. Yeah it’s kind of janky and you have to use the gayass Wii nunchucks but at the same time look at the fucking character roster. I mean GOD DAMN

I never realized there were this many kaiju in this series.

I'm not even a godzilla fan, but having another game like this where you play as a giant kaiju and fight other Kaijus in a destroyable environment would just be so fun.

If only the controls did not suck. EDIT: Also does anyone know if Varan has shown up in another Godzilla movies besides the Destroy all Monsters movie? I grew up with the old Godzilla movies and Varan was in only one of them with next to no screen time

Love how when they show Godzilla 90s on the Wii and the camera does its thing and it’s like um is that supposed to happen because Godzilla is barely shown when he roars.

It should and be on ps and xbox with crossover play.

i hate varen in this because he replaced the most disrespected and underutilized monster in the entire history of godzilla, Bagan, the ORIGINAL destroyah pretty much(and actually stronger and bigger) bagan has been screwed out of movie appearances and even some games, including this one, he's only in one game and one of those weird exploring "games" that basically just shows a model/image and gives info

The audio mixing in this game is terrible. I understand having the roars be loud, but why are the BGM and sfx so much louder than the announcer?
