It’s kinda funny to think a whole reversal happened. George Cooper was a man who loved sports, but had a son who prefer academics. Now Sheldon as a man of academics has a son who loves sports. Well then again, maybe Leonard Cooper could be smart, but also a sports lover. Could be he liked Hockey because it’s a sport that requires a lot of strategy and wanted to show his dad he can be best of both world being a Brilliant athlete

I like to think his son has the physical aspects of physics down more than the intellectual aspects. He's a genius with them, hence the sports he plays.

Yk it’s kind of unnerving to see Sheldon and Amy talk and not only have a laugh track playing every 10 seconds but listening to them have an entire conversation without them pausing for the laughter to stop

I wouldn't be surprised if Sheldon's children will go seeking for a father figure.

Why do I have this feeling that Leonard (the son of Amy and Sheldon) also turns out to be academically gifted under the mask of a hockey player? My guess is that he must have felt like he must have felt the pressure of his mom being a Nobel Prize winner and his dad being a genius physicist. My other theory is that Leonard's sister is the opposite, she takes after her aunt Missy for being the naturally attractive daughter who has better social skills but wants to outwardly project herself as the academically competent sibling because her brother still gets higher grades than her and my guess is that Leonard is that type of kid in school that doesn't want his peers to find out that he is also an academically equal to them not because he sees them as embarrassing parents but because he has a reputation to keep. It does sound cool to speculate that Leonard genuinely loves studying inside his room but doesn't show it to his parents because it will "expose" him.

I admit I always imagined Sheldon and Amy would move from apartament 4B when Young Sheldon revealed they had children. I often imagined how it would be being in apartament 4B with them and I came to the conclusion it would be difficult. If I lived in apartment 4B I would have to enter Sheldon and Amy's bedroom if I needed to go to the bathroom at night and Sheldon and/or Amy would have to wait for me to wake up to make themselves breakfast if I'm still sleeping by the time Sheldon and/or Amy wake up

This scene really bothered me. Sheldon says that he learned a lot from his father, yet he won't go to his son's hockey game. Not because he's working or otherwise unavailable, but because he simply doesn't want to. Is that something George Sr. would do? Hell no. Sheldon is just a terrible person. He didn't learn anything

Something that makes me wonder is that tecnically this would be 5ish years after the bbt finale. Which means their son could only be able 4??? Yet he’s playing hockey?

Yeah - I’m starting think Penny had a miscarriage and that they let her babysit because of it. And I’m certain that Leonard, given his … sad existence, did himself a favor and committed suicide. If his mom was still alive she wrote a book about how she disappointed her yet again. Sheldon … probably thought he was blameless and named his son Leonard in an attempt to resurrect his buddy.
