I wish the show went longer & we probably would've gotten His & Denise's wedding. After everything He went through from His comic book store burning (We'll never know how, even though He explained it), Raj having Halley as His God child & telling Stuart He has nothing, a wedding on screen would've been great.

i don't think so, even sheldon said that he can buy everything in the store online and only come to comic book store for the ambiance and the service.... if no one meets sheldon, then no one go to comic book store and never met stuart. also the time sheldon goes to comic book store would drastically decreased since it was leonard who drive sheldon to the store. so stuart and sheldon relationship would be just acquaintance.

Stuart had really hilarious moments throughout the show's run. This episode is one of them

I’m not sure how Raj thought he was going to be a ladies man when he couldn’t even talk to women without drinking for so long. Besides, the whole reason he discovered he could talk to women while drinking is because of Penny, whom he never would’ve met without knowing Sheldon.

I think that diagram is absolutely correct; Amy has it down to the bone literally. Had Sheldon not agreed for Leonard to become his roommate, Sheldon wouldn't have met Raj and Howard, they all wouldn't have met Penny and Bernadette with Howard falling in love with Bernadette and going into space, Howard/Leonard not being able to make the guidance system due to Sheldon not being there for them to try and take advantage of his intelligence ("Nice try, blockheads!") and not forgetting, Raj and Howard wouldn't have signed Sheldon up to the dating site where they found Amy. Whether or not they dislike Sheldon's attitude or behavior at times i.e. when he was sick or when he ran away because he dislikes change etc, they still view Sheldon as a friend.

He started off as a confident guy who was able to be himself around women and it worked because he actually dated Penny for a short time. Then for some reason he suddenly became pathetic just like Amy suddenly started behaving like a human and not like a robot without any real progression.

You could argue it was actually their interpersonal relationships with Penny that enabled them to grow and develop as people. Compare their characters from the first appearances to the final season and you can see just how much they were suffering inside (Amy was starved for affection and social acceptance and initially masked as closed and rigid as a defense mechanism) for example). Her “Happy Birthday to Me” scene later in this episode was how her character felt inside all along before season 3.

@@soniag.2100 every episode that Stewart gets "personal" when speaking on his issues he mostly shares that: - he's under allot of medication, for various mental disorders and other health issues - he eats so little, his ribcage is visible when he takes off his shirt - his heart is in such poor condition that any ammount of stress (say a potential home invader when he's living with Howard and Bernadete, as a live in nanny) could cost him his life simply in Big Bang Theory, Stewarts running gag is: "My life sucks, and there is TONS wrong with me"

I got emotional watching the last episode of the last season of this series❤️❤️

One of my favorite episodes.

this scene becomes rather tragic now that debbie wolowitz and her actress have passed and we saw just how devastated howard was when she actually passed away, despite these morbid fantasies of her death.

@samcrdx No one said Sheldon is the link, as the glue of the group. They said Sheldon is the link in a sense that they all wouldn't have met if not for him, and it's true. Because Sheldon was the one living in the apartment at the start. Leonard met Sheldon when looking for the apartment, and then became Sheldon's roommate - so thanks to the fact that Sheldon chose Leonard as his roommate, Howard and Raj also met Sheldon. And thanks to Sheldon living where he lived, Leonard met Penny, and through Penny, Howard and the rest of the gang met Bernadette. Amy also met Sheldon thanks to the sole fact that Sheldon chose Leonard as his roommate: because the moment Sheldon chose Leonard, he also met Howard and Raj through Leonard, and Howard and Raj were the ones who found Amy for Sheldon, remember? So if Sheldon rejected Leonard as a roommate, Leonard would never moved in, and would never met Penny or Bernadette. But, as Bernie said here, Penny and Sheldon would have met at some point anyway because Sheldon was already living in this building, and she would have moved in eventually. So they would meet daily, even as the simple neighbors across the hall. So it's true - they said here no one of them would be friends if not for Sheldon, and it's true. Everything started the moment when Sheldon chose Leonard as his roommate. And they meant in that sense, Sheldon is the link.

Leonard, Raj and Howard all worked at Cal Tech so even without Sheldon they would probably know each other and naturally become friends due to their mutual interests. Not meeting the other characters though would be true without Sheldon.
