My wife passed away last year of Covid, i can remember how she always laughed at me cause I would sing this song to her at the most awkward times, though she always loved me for it. I miss her so much. Every time i hear this song now i cry only happy tears knowing she is looking down on me with a smile.

Until the end of time.. 👏🏿👍🏿
Former chauffeur here: I drove these men to the county fair, saw the show backstage, and then to a hotel near an international airport - a one-hour drive. Tenor? Delious Kennedy sang the entire way sitting just behind me. In fact, they all sang, but he was two feet from my ears. Wow!!! What a treat! Did they do it for the love of the art? Rehearsing? 🤷♂ When I dropped them off I asked Jamie Jones (the first to solo in this song) for their autographs for a young lady visiting from Texas. Without missing a beat he signed all their names just a little differently so I could have everybody's signature. 🤩

It wasn't called the colorful 90s for no reason! LOL Bright, or just solid colored shirts, or a Black 2 piece outfit, with huge polka dots on it! Paisley's! Argyle socks! If that's spelled right? I doubt it LOL it's me. Liz Claiborne, Coach, Gucci when it came to purses. Big clothing brands still like Nike Adidas. Now I don't know if this was a regional area type of clothing company. But in the early 90s I'll say maybe from 90-95 ish, one of the biggest name brands we wore in the state of Indiana was called "IOU". Does anyone remember that company? I had a $75 to $100 big Liz Claiborne purse. I like the way they looked so much better than Coach, just being so plain. Liz Claiborne was expensive enough my mother said! LOL So, there was no way I was getting a Gucci purse even though I wanted one! ROFL How about, we wore jeans that actually fit us a little baggie, and no flare pants.or bell bottoms. Those are in that generation at the time. Actually we did the opposite. We used to take the bottom of our pants and folding them together tightly, and do this little fold up at the bottom of our pants! LOL Nowadays it seems like kids only know the color of white and black when it comes to socks. I had every color imaginable back then in slouch socks it's not funny! Even though actually it is funny! LOL. Nike was around then, Adidas was around, Reebok was around, Timberlands, Eastwood, Tretorns, anybody remember those tennis shoes in the late 80s, early 90's? I looked, they actually still sell them these days. And they're not cheap still. I believe they originated coming from Sweden. They had their own version of kind of like the Nike swoosh, but not exactly of course. I had to have multiple pairs with the different color swoosh, and you could even get them in plaid for the swoosh. I can picture my red plaid ones. Now these shoes were solid white and I believe upper leather, and then just a symbol was in different colors. Oh the good old days! I love my life today. I have a wonderful husband and great children. Even though I didn't end up with the man I thought I was going to end up with. it's okay though, I'm good. My ex turned around and found a girl in college that literally we could have been sisters! LOL So obviously he has a type LOL but since I was his first love ( and his first.... well I'm sure you know where that's heading anyway! LOL so I'll stop there on that! Hahaha! I swear he picked out a girl that resembled me, because the reason we got split up was do to his family and friends. Isn't that nice! Oh well, I've spent too much time talking about this. But, it was fun to talk about. Thanks guys! Stay safe! Keep calm! Optimistic that the vaccines coming will work! Much love everyone! 💖💖💯😂

I won’t ever forget hearing this song for the first time ever when I was in the 4th grade on a field trip. We went to the skating rink. Lol All of a sudden, the lights dimmed and they had what looked like stars in the ceiling come on. Then hearing the, “I swear” so loudly. The best music in my childhood.

Early 90's rocked!
The 90's is when music became self-aware but before music became overproduced. It's the perfect musical balance which is why we appreciate it so much!
I swear to God that this song is a master piece and i give thanks to the most high for giving us all-4-one 🙏🌕💫🌌🌠
David Foster arranged this song...it became number 1 hit in 1994, amazing
Brings me Wayyy back
it was 1994... when my parents put the cable to our TV , with the promise from me and my brother that will still learn at school not only tv all day ! when the cable guy came and install it... the first thing me and my brother did, was to search MTV and this song was playing at that time ! This was 30 years ago .... from Romania with love !
Man I lived the 90s in all its glory and I would do it over and over and over and over again if I could.
LEGENDARY.
This song should have a half a million views or more.
They don’t make music like this anymore? Absolutely amazing vocals with a message.

They didn't write the song or sing it first because it's a Country Song in 1993 and a year later the blacks try to claim it in 1994 😆
This always reminds me of the movie "Just Friends" - Damn the good old days were just wholesome

How are you
30 years ago I listened to this great song in 1994 from the California boy band. I am 45 now and feel very proud growing up in the 80s and the 90s. So soothing. How time passes? Music and quality of life was great in the nineties. Today, it all about competing with each through the dribble and nonsense of social media. We need more quality music like this.
I'm 30 today and I heard this when I was only 2. I still love it.
I just lost my uncle recently, it just made me realize about him whenever I turn on this song

Today a few decades after this song debut has new meaning to me. Today my 5yo son is sitting in my lap singing along to this song - is making me cry. He and his older brother has brought me so much joy. Not matter what I’ll be there for them. I swear.
I swear by the moon and the stars in the skies And I swear like the shadow that's by your side I see the questions in your eyes I know what's weighing on your mind You can be sure I know my part 'Cause I'll stand beside you through the years And you'll only cry those happy tears And though I'll make mistakes, I'll never break your heart And I swear by the moon and the stars in the skies I'll be there And I swear like the shadow that's by your side I'll be there For better or worse, 'til death do us part I'll love you with every beat of my heart And I swear Ooh I'll give you everything I can I'll build your dreams with these two hands We'll hang some memories on the walls And when (and when) Just the two of us are there You won't have to ask if I still care 'Cause as the time turns the page, my love won't age at all And I swear (I swear) By the moon and the stars in the skies I'll be there (I'll be there) And I swear (and I swear) Like the shadow that's by your side I'll be there (I'll be there) For better or worse 'til death do us part I'll love you with every beat of my heart (beat of my heart) And I swear (oh yeah) I swear (and I swear) By the moon and the stars in the skies I'll be there (I'll be there) (And I swear) I swear like the shadow that's by your side I'll be there (I'll be there) For better or worse (better or worse) 'Til death do us part (oh no) (I'll love you with) every single beat of my heart (I swear) I swear Whoa-oh, I swear
