Former chauffeur here: I drove these men to the county fair, saw the show backstage, and then to a hotel near an international airport - a one-hour drive. Tenor? Delious Kennedy sang the entire way sitting just behind me. In fact, they all sang, but he was two feet from my ears. Wow!!! What a treat! Did they do it for the love of the art? Rehearsing? 🤷‍♂ When I dropped them off I asked Jamie Jones (wearing eyeglasses) for their autographs for a young lady visiting from Texas. Without missing a beat he signed all their names just a little differently so I could have everybody's signature fast. 🤩 I mailed it to the young lady soon after. 😎

It’s sad that they don’t really have any groups like this anymore that make a nice easy listening, soulful music. This music had a romantic, soulful, easy listening vibe that just made you feel good with the vocals in the lyrics and oh geez why does every song nowadays have to have a pop beat and need to try to be number one because everyone’s streaming it every single day 5 million times. Life was easier when no one was fighting to be the number one artist and have the number one song of people just put out music because they love doing it and that’s when we got good shit like this.

So glad I grew up to MUSIC like this and not the bs playing now days

The world has never been all that great since the 50s ...not every other household had a gun and food and gas cost nothing...the only real violen e known then was war not on the streets unless you were in New York dealing with mobs ...now and even since the 70s drugs and people dying on the streets hasn't changed much and we notice it more now bcuz the population has grown insanely and of course social media puts everything out there...so if you want to go back and live In better time the 50s is probably the best time

I really miss the 90s. I was 14 when this song came out. I remember hearing it for the first time in early June 1995 while getting ready to leave my house for school one morning, and recording it on my Sony mixtape. I still have it today. My 28 year old recording from the radio still sounds great. This was a big hit during the summer of 1995.
