Absolutely what an amazing voice

Allison's voice must be how an angel's truly sounds like. I love hearing James and Allison sing together. Beautiful!!

This is what you call a true classic.

This is the best duet I ever heard. They really touched my heart !!!

If there are two voices singing more beautifully, I've not heard it.

Dirk, so true...though this reminded me of some old (1972) Gram Parsons/Emmylou Harris duets, from the album, "Return of the Grievous Angel" - if you haven't heard that, I'm quite sure you will love it.

Hello Amy..

Elvis was Elvis in '56, but his version can't hold a candle to this one. Different times/different arrangements/different talent. What no one mentions is this was part of a tribute album to the Louin Brothers, who, along with dozens, also recorded this song. All the compliments herein are dead on.

The Elvis version has a slightly different melody but projects desolation far better than this version, nice though it is.

Absolutely beautiful,makes me tearful. James Taylor has always been above many in the music industry, and to pair him with Alison pure genius.❤️

This is one of the best country duets ever, hands down. Two pros perfectly complementing each other. Art you can listen to. I didn't know that Elvis recorded it (1956) Apparently it was written by Chet Atkins and the amazing Bordleaux Bryant.

Man! From the first time I heard this several years ago, I instantly fell in love with the song. The harmonies are outstanding and they sound amazing together. Haven't heard this song in a while, but still love it!!
