I think it’s legit but part of a bad batch. I purchased 2 of these when released by hasbro and found the same line work issues with the webbing. Good catch on the box print and glossy finish

That has good webbing, better color matching, splits baby, and pull a renew your vows before it came out on the hips

I just reviewed this figure and my conclusions are basically the same as yours: this is definitely a figure made with the same molds and materials, and a similar level of quality. Only Hasbro knows if it was made with their permission or not. Great video my friend!!!

Honestly, besides the glossyness of the bootleg, I think it looks better than the official. I HATE the official headsculpt because of the eyes. It’s always looked off to me, so I just bought a loose one only with the ditko head. I don’t mind the glossy finish for the blue, but the red should be a bit more matte to show more detail, but that’s not to hard to fix. I’m really tempted to buy this.

You know since I switched it out to the Ditko head sculpt after I reviewed this, I’m starting to appreciate it more than the other one. I agree though it’s virtually almost the same figure as the officially released one

I ordered mine a few weeks back. I knew exactly what the deal was. Aliexpress also sells original Mezcos along side their bootlegs, but those are without flaws. If the glossiness is the only issue, then this figure is worth the price. The new one is pinless but buying it loose will still cost you more than getting this figure.

To me it looks much the same as the official one. Even the glossyness is only a tad more than the one you bought in the States. Ali Express K.O. Clone and Stormtroopers are pretty damn good. Stormies maybe jot as sharp mould wise as the legit ones but the Clonetroopers are as good if not better than the official ones. Plus you can get a 501st clone on the new mould.

Agreed, it’s just as good as the official one apart from the slight glossyness but it’s cool because it poses just as well as the one I bought in 2020 🙌 I’ll have to check out the stormtroopers because I’d feel that would be a good place to order them from to army build for the displays! Is that what you did?

Let me tell you something I buy from aliexpres green goblin retro figure. And what surprised my was that the figure has the same code number on foot as the original. So I had luck to be original deal😉

Just got this guy and as someone who really wanted a classic Spidey and has 0 patience for the release of the new ones, I'm extremely happy with it. Bonus points as well for being compatible with my official retro peter parker head

I got the original retro Spider-Man years ago for standard price online. Recently there are a lot of bootlegs of this guy popping up and that makes me paranoid that my figure may be a fake but then again, I did get my figure years before these bootlegs was made.

No one mentioned that there should be a faint digital number print at the back of the card (lower left)

my card is exactly how you described your non-ali card but my figure looks like your ali figure. both these figures are legit just different batches, they made thousands of these and there are many variables that cause slight differences in the final product, thats my take. plus like i mentioned above it comes with a digitized number print at the back.

How do you know which seller to get a good KO from for this figure? Aren’t they all different

Typically for anything AliExpress or eBay or Mercari I look at the seller reviews to try and differentiate which place I’ll buy it from.

I always heard aliexpress figures were more of the “fall of the back of the truck” figures and the “damaged” ones more than KOs

I could totally see that too, I’ve seen comments saying that they’re essentially part of a “bad batch” that didn’t pass for original release.

bro, no worry, I have contact in few factories, the cost of making a fake one is too high. both or yours is definitely from the same licences panel factory. as for why different in paint and gloss level. it is the same concept as the burger in burger king, those meat at the bottom is always saltier than those on top because liquid salt or old goes downward. the injection mould temperature also affect the glossy level of the figure at the time the material (liquid plastic) were injected. secondly is was those batch made of liquid plastic at the top or bottom of the tank where the mix was made.

It has to be a bootleg, although it's pretty decent and surely I would recommend it for anyone who missed out on the original one but doesn't want to pay a ton of money for it

Thanks for the video but after Hasbro Canada confirm authenticity on some Hasbro Spider man and them transformers I don't think I will buy in USA anymore. Price difference is huge

I think at the end of the day it comes down to how much the AliExpress is. These flippers want ridiculous prices for a damn toy and there are idiots who are willing to pay that. Just put a retro Spider-Man figure in the collection if it’s within the ballpark of $20 and it’s too late to get a retro that’s what is for.

I got it from a shop called The Toy Department! It’s an old school toybiz Manga Spider-Man figure 🙌

For me personally, I’m probably going to wait for the 2 pack. It looks cooler there for me, and it’s an upgrade. The Tobey and Andrew figures hasbro have promised us are the 2 figures I’m most anticipated for.

I don’t have a hasbro pulse account, and I’m in Australia. So I’ll wait till the three pack is on eBay and when hasbro releases the figures in other ways. I think making the figures exclusives is a big mistake. The fan outcry would let hasbro know to release the figures less exclusively.

I would say so, except the KO seems to have more of a shiny finish and the joints are a little more stiff

It looks like someone sat on it , the card o can save it , I need heat cardboard up , I hope figure is sold loose on app , im waiting monster venoms to show up , for some reason tracking number didn’t work once it hit califorina , I seen people get mint cards on Facebook groups

Tbh they were a little bit stiff out of the box. Could be the paint finish they used, but after posing it a few times it started to loosen the joints up.

Is it safe to order from AliExpress? I've never used it, but I'd be happy to fill a few holes in my collection with those knock offs If they look as good as this one. I really want a brown suit Wolverine but I'm not prepared to pay the ridiculous after market prices on eBay. Collectors are such greedy bastards!

When it comes to AliExpress, what I usually do is check the sellers reviews before I order anything - low rating from customers then I don’t buy from them. However if they have good reviews and the reviews have photos, I’d be more inclined to order from that seller.

I mean it's the same exact mold as all the other recent Wolverine figures! I got into comics in the 80's so to me the brown suit is the definitive version.

About 3 and 1/2 weeks from when I initially ordered it.

Mafex made the best Spidey. His height, articulation, proportions and sculpted webbing have not been beaten, least of all by Hasbro. Hasbro has a serious anatomy problem with chests and shoulders let alone the paint applications.

As long is it isnt loosey goosey and feels the same in terms of platic quality, then i couldnt care less which is real and which isnt

Marvel legends plastic quality is not that great anyways you can tell the difference with another lines like spawn or storm collectibles sh figuarts etc . So I don't mind buying this one.

It's good to use as a body for custom figure, but collection...... NO!!! that's for sure.
