Same here. I ordered one last week on Amazon from a third-party seller and it just arrived today. Mine has the serial number in the bootleg place as well, but everything else checks out as being the original Hasbro product. So, I would say that the number placement is in fact NOT an indicator.

For all those who say that the torso joint is too loose, I recommend using the instant glue. I have the same figure, it arrived yesterday and I was able to fix it this way, contorting the torso backwards you will be able to see an opening under the chest through which you can see a little of the torso joint, through that hole you can pour the instant glue, don't pour too much and remember to move it constantly so that the figure doesn't get stuck. The knee joint came stuck and very hard to move, so what I did was to heat water (not to the point where it is boiling) and submerge the joint part for 30 seconds to 1 minute, do not leave it too much, keep moving the joint until the point where it can move easily. Doing this the figure was like new and with nearly the same articulation of the original and with respect to the paint, mine came very well painted, I think it depends on luck when buying. I hope you find my recommendations useful and thanks for uploading a video of this figure!

man, i was waiting for this to get bootlegged since prices online have become ridiculous now. this is so disappointing. that actually does look terrible compared to previous bootlegs.

Yeah this one is terrible, although if you read another comment the person was saying that the got a good one, don't know if there's a difference in quality of bootleg. But the one I got definitely isn't good

Messed part? I have gotten 1 figure in tons of bubble wrap in a unnecessary oversized shipping box, and the figure box is still somehow damaged. Thankfully I don't really care about boxes for the most part.

See the figure itself. Does it have the looks of original or bootleg? Even when within packaging, should be able to tell, especially the weblines at the forearms

I dont think the serie number Is proof of a bootleg because I saw different reviews of this figure by pretty known youtubers who are collecting figures and the serie number is not always under torna.

@@Stillfigurineout as far as the paintjob and the details it's not good, but from my experience sometimes you get a nice surprise with the paint and everything is more or less ok. i meant more in terms of how it feels in the hand and do you think it would survive a lot of posing lol

Why are you waiting for a "special moment" to open it? Does the timing REALLY matter...? It's going to get opened regardless, right? Just do it now...if you haven't already. That seems kinda silly to me to want to wait and pay money for a crappy bootleg so you can mess around with it. Just open the original and enjoy your figure, dude. It's a toy. It's not that serious...lol.

@@Mr.v Fine, I guess. It's just that, sometimes, I feel like there are collectors out there who treat action figures like they are gold bars or some sort of rare, ancient artifact. They're just toys. I find it ridiculous when people can't bring themselves to open one for whatever reason they may have. That's cool if you're working on a set up but if you want to open it SO bad that you are actually considering spending money on a crappy bootleg...then just open it and save yourself the money. Like I said, it really isn't that serious. You know what I mean? Sorry for the rant, and I hope I didn't offend you or anything. I just get annoyed at times with the collecting community.

I don't think the number matters. Even between original the numbers might bw different.. so look at the figure itself

Both are made by dame company. But booleg is intentionaly done worse. In that way people with diferent economic power can buy any version.
