This is the only McFarland line I collect, I know nothing about their SDCC exclusives. Will there be an on-line release or will I have to pay the iron price on eBay?

Since they brought back the Bruce Wayne and Batman Beyond, and separated them into two separate figures, I hope they do it again with the Superman The Animated Series figures and release Lois Lane separately from Superman cuz the two pack is overwhelmingly expensive and I really want just the Lois Lane figure

I purged most of my toybiz collection years ago in favor of Hasbro, but this is one I kept. Hasbro still hasnt given us this classic look.

Its amazing how majority of the reviewer's are saying this is the best batman when clearly taking into consideration the huge gap between the neck and body it's their worst release. Even the Hush Batman with the same neck design didn't have a gap that big. This is a huge disappointment. That's all this figure is. After making so many Batman figures when McFarlane releases something with this massive defect it needs to be called out not simply brushed aside and go gaga over the figure..... Glad that at least some reviewer's are actually reviewing it right.
Are the headsculpts swappable like i can add the NWH dr head on defender and vice versa?

That Three Jokers Batman and the Classic Superman BOTH look 110% BETTER, even with the classic red trunks not being totally perfect. I would be fine with that, and I tend to dislike the little things like that, but the hands, head and trunks look fantastic! I hadn't thought about getting the Classic Superman until now, and I've had the three Jokers Batman for some time. I really like the Three Jokers Batman, and now that I see him with the Black Hush headsculpt, I have a reason to seek a Hush Batman out. 👍

I highly recommend using the Superman mezco 12:1 on McFarland Supermans

The unmasked head sculpt looks a lot like Alan Ritchson, which is pretty badass

I like what you did on those figures. Thing about Toddy Mac stuff is that you can have some fun kitbashing em up with popping & swapping. Add your flavor, make what you like. That’s cool BUT.. I really wish they would make a perfect figure of the major characters so no customizing is needed. Right? The best Superman made is like the oldest version, has single joint elbows & kinda thin legs, etc. So many Batman figs & they all scale so differently it becomes annoying. So..find the lemonade in the lemons ;)
You could also use hot water for disassembling the figures

Oh man, yes! Batman TBATB DS was so good! That Plastic Man and catwoman level is iconic
Nice list. Can’t really argue with your choices, even though I don’t even own your #1 pick. It’s still a cool looking figure. Here’s my own list for 2024 so far. 5. Mr. Zsasz I know people will think I’m crazy, but I love Batman villains, and Zsasz is one I never thought we’d get. Especially the spot-on Norm Breyfogle inspired version McFarlane delivered. I know some people think it looks like crap, but it’s true to the source material, so I love it. 4. Green Lantern / Hal Jordan Gotta love a classic Hal Jordan Green Lantern. And the Silver-Age version is extra crispy classic. 3. Penguin Another spot-on comic accurate Batman villain. Definitely the best classic Penguin figure we’ve ever gotten. Nearly perfect. 2. Plastic Man Plas has been one of my favorite DC superheroes since I was a little kid. I had two of the Mattel SCCC figures, but I never thought I’d see him in the Multiverse line, especially in his classic, bare legged costume. I have two of this version as well. He’d be my number one if not for this next figure. 1. Detective Comics #27 Batman (1st Appearance) I have both the regular and Platinum versions and they are both awesome. And since it looks like the next Batman animated series (Caped Crusader) will feature the Dark Knight wearing a nearly identical version of this costume, the figure takes on a whole new meaning. It’s like getting a figure from the show several months early.

Great list man. Love the Knightsend Azrael so much and agree with you, the blue should have been the main release.
It is a nice figure! And for sure it should’ve been a main release, here’s hoping they do another run in the future! 🙌
Honorable mentions: Wally West (Flash)- I just wish it would fit in more. It looks creepy, but it's a good representation of a cover of Wally. Plus it is a Wally figure. Kyle Rayner (okay a repaint but dammit I love this version of Kyle). Page Puncher Brainiac. Like your love for Superman, I love me the outlandish Brainiac that came from this wave. Just an absolute freaky figure. 5.) Azbats - Amazing figure. I just wish he had open claw hands and he'd skyrocketed to my #1. 4.) Mr. Freeze (TAS recolor) - Okay McFarlane got me with a recolor. Just I love Mr. Freeze from BTAS and this recolor is exceptional. 3.) Penguin - exceptional head sculpt and love the top portion. The figure surprised the living hell out of me how much I adore it. 2.) Batman (First Appearance) - Look I get the "it's Batman") but the wired cape makes me not put this figure down. Like between him, my Mafex Batman or Magneto. I keep changing the flow of the cape cause it's so much gosh darn fun. It's just I'll fool around with them once a week not daily like... 1.) Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) - Reuse like heck from prior Batgirl figures, but dammit it all. It's Cass and she's got one thing they don't: a wired cape. This figure is the bomb. So much so I bought freaking three of these damn things (one regular, one custom unmasked head, and one I "Frankensteined" with help from another to be more comic accurate). Every damn day on my free time I'll pose a version of this figure. The wired cape and head sculpt just do so much heavy lifting. Darkseid is probably gonna be my #1 whenever he's released. But that Bane/Batman two-pack, new Tim Drake, and (if it's to be believed) Question figure might sneak in or even dethrone my #1.

But also Mr. Freeze is also on preorder so they may make their way into the top spots. But you’re right though, we still got Bane/Batman 2 pack and Darkseid coming out soon! Those might leapfrog into the top spots tbh. I also dig that you put Batgirl number 1! It is a dope figure to pose around and the wired cape definitely elevates the posing!
