Apparently one trick was to walk in with a professional looking person as the decoy and Sasha would sit with the 'victims' pretending to wait for the "real" interview. I can see that working for some but certainly not all "interviews". The producers must've had a helluva good backstory because most people would just see how Ali is dressed and think it was a send up, let alone when he starts talking. 😂

When they were setting up the interviews, they'd get a professional-looking guy in a suit to make small talk, giving the impression that he'd be the interviewer, while Cohen moved equipment around so he just looked like a member of the crew. It wouldn't be until they started filming and it was too late to back out that Ali G revealed himself as the interviewer.

That's why he's so brilliant. He comes up with stuff right off the bat and able to contain himself. He's got so much better with that. Praise to him to be able to contain. When I did comedy in school/theatre I couldn't contain myself but with actual scripts it got better. Terrible with saying my own off the bat jokes. I crack even myself up what I come up with 😅

In particular, the policies of the United States government, as carried out by the executive branch, can either help to resolve or worsen global problems like climate change, pandemics (note Trump's stance on vaccines) and nuclear proliferation. The purpose of debates is to help people to determine which person would enact the best policies. By deliberately lowering the level of discourse in the presidential debates, Donald Trump is making it more difficult for the public to identify the best presidential candidates and policies... So yes, Donald Trump is hurting not just those in the world today but also future generations through his selfish behavior and he should be deeply ashamed.

HOW DOES HE GET THESE INTERVIEWS!!!! CEO's, future presidents, executive presidents! This can and will never happen again to the same degree

You can see Ali-G break character at the very end. I always wondered what it would be like to see the entire context of the interviews. For instance, how did Trump respond to that off-camera, who did he yell at, what did Sascha say immediately after he walked off, etc. I wish he really would release this kind of stuff.
