Sorry. I am not feeling the interview with Pelosi's daughter. Whoopi handled it well but of course there was going to be questions about her father. Even if it was a dry sense of humor or whatever....her response felt inappropriate. Maybe I am making too much of this, but it rubbed me the wrong way . Also, I have dated and had intimate relationships with a couple of Republicans BUT,, I can not so lightly dismiss what Bush did or allowed while he was in office.. I won't get too graphic but the suffering, death and wounds of Iraqi children and other innocent people is NOT something I could "just disagree" with. I don't mind being civil when meeting Bush or Scalise, but it is not just about the hateful and mean politics and what they did, but also how they THINK & the actions that literally hurt & kill people. I don't think it can be blamed on social media because we had the same thing during the last Gilded Age. President McKinley - shot. Former President Theodor Roosevelt - shot. Lots of street violence too. Vast gulfs of income inequality create political violence and instability.

It’s good to see Paul is recovering but he really shouldn’t be flying right after a brain trauma. It’s been 25 years since I was tossed out of a car and my head slammed the road and flying is still a serious struggle. I can’t imagine how difficult flying right after being attacked with a hammer must be.
