You have to do a bit of digging, but at least you will get the truth, not ‘realty TV.’ But you can choose to listen to highly paid talking heads on CNN, FOX, NBC, etc, or you can listen to your neighbor who experienced whatever event. If I hate a car repair shop and I gather a bunch of people that also hate that car repair shop to the point they come to my shall we say rally with body armor, a few blocks or right by that repair shop and rant about how much we should destroy that shop because it cheated us, would it be shocking when that crowd storms the place? Of course not. So yeah Trump is guilty here, the question ( as far as law goes anyway) is proving if he and his people were just being dumb or meant for it to happen, but happen it did and why it happened is pretty obvious.

As bad as Jan 6th was, and it WAS awful, it had the potential to be so much worse. I'm still a bit shocked by it all and very embarrassed as an American that my friends in Canada and Europe were also watching this on live news feeds as it was happening. I was a kid in the 60s seeing some of the war and civil rights protests along with racial riots and civil unrests. Even seeing some of the BLM protests in my own city both peaceful and violent, but as bad as these were, none that I can recall had attempted to overthrow the government, violate the Constitution and stamp out a democratic process. All incited and encouraged by a current president. This is just crazy.

To be honest, getting worse (say some congressmen and many more rioters killed) might actually be better for this country. Trump would be impeached succesfully with his faction discredited, no place for election deniers for a while at least. My mom was in DC in the rallies as a trump support, being a lifelong republicans. After this happened, she came back very disappointed, said trump used the people that trust him to be his bidding, and she will not vote for him again. The fact that anyone can still defend is beyond wild.

I’m Impressed with the number of cameras catching all these decisive moments so well, we have to complement the professional work of the camera operators and sound crew that managed to not get in the way. When I worked in government there wouldn’t have been any capture equipment in sight when decisions were being made.

It’s common knowledge that the White House has staff photographers and videographers. This video in particular WAS recorded by Pelosi’s daughter for a years long documentary she’s been working on surrounding her mom.

She seems to be sticking to a script. No real panic, just trying to play the blame game. Mask on, off, on,,,standard

Also one other question, that FBI agent that was outside instigating people to go Riot and tear down building fences. Why did his name suddenly disappear off the list of rioters? Also why is it that they refuse to acknowledge that he was there, but also admit that the person is an FBI agent.

Have a question to ask, why did Pelosi not approve more security for that day after she was requested to do so? Why did Pelosi have her daughter there with her own personal film crew? These are questions we should be asking, whether you're a Democrat or Republican.

This is why I’m staying out of American politics for the meantime. There’s so much radicalization, it’s just not worth it anymore.

I take a lot of issue with Nancy Pelosi. But she did handle this very professionally. She didn’t panic, she wanted to get on with proceedings but also put everyone safety in too priory and was proactive and productive.

4:30pm Nancy Pelosi - "What we are being told directly is it's gonna take days before the capitol is okay again. It may take days to get back." 6:00pm Mike Pence - "The house and the senate will be able to re-convene in an hour". That's not an insurrection. That's a minor delay.

What lesson can we learn? Well, if you want to overthrow the American government, get Americans to do it themselves
