It took hours for the clearance for the national guard yo enter the Capitol property because Nancy and the mayor had the national guard posted of the property. The permission or clearance to enter the Capitol property had to go thru channels all the way to the Pentagon as I said that took that long for the clearance.

Giving government agents (the police & military) the right to suppress free speech & political process using deadly force is a dangerous road that politicians don't like to walk down. Making the decision to send in armed forces with orders to shoot to kill should not be taken lightly by anyone. Secondly, have you seen the pictures of the crowds of THOUSANDS who surged past the barriers & onto the Capital steps? There were only 500 officers guarding the perimeter of the grounds, armed with only their police revolvers, with clips of 15-18 rounds, trying to control a crowd of up to 10,000 angry people. If they had emptied their handgun's into the crowd, they had nothing to protect themselves from a mob who would now be out for blood. And nobody knew what weapons the mob was carrying. By the time the reinforcements, armed with riot gear arrived, the mob was spread all through the building. This was NOT the police facing off one armed suspect; or hundreds of officers lined up with riot gear facing a line of violent protestors. This was a fucking stupid & ignorant comment by Graham

The US did not fall, we let in visitors to the Capital every day. They thought they had the nation at the throat but there was nothing their trampling could change. Pence didn’t rise to the occasion. He had the power to send the votes back down to the states to rectify the issues. He chose to be a coward. ONE of the main reasons why the issues of J6 ensued. People were upset he didn’t exercise his right to clarify issues. Some of the states said they wanted their vote back since new information came to light after the votes were certified. Everyone knows there were over reach of power during the pandemic. Governors giving power to courts that they had no right or power to do so… Look at Georgia and Pennsylvania. It came to light the Governor of Georgia gave Stacy Abrams certain powers because she sued them and they had no authority to give her what they did, it was against the law. Pandemic Voting arena center set up to allow distancing was shut down during voting because of a “flood” that turned out to be a small toilet leak. Absolutely no bipartisanship going on at the voting centers in Philadelphia. Come on. All the problems with the voting machines. Mail in ballots of questionable origin. We saw the videos of the drop boxes. So as we can see very dirty politics.

Three of the greatest reasons Jan.6 was such a screw up!😡

They did not sound stressed. Sounded rehearsed

It will always come down to people of good will, the one person who says no, the guest is just flapping her jaws and speaks in broad strokes n no specificity. The take away is how important that one person says no.

If any incident like this had happened at your workplace, it would have closed down for days, you would have been sent home & offered psychological therapy to cope. Within hours of a raging violent mob invading the Capital building, screaming "Hang Mike Pence" and "Where's Pelosi?", the Legislators had returned to their Chambers to resume the Constitutionally mandated process of electing a new government. The incredible courage & professionalism of all involved will be the one lesson that will be a significant part of the history of Jan 6th.
