Been a few years since I've seen Mark get man handled like that..... At what point does he realize that he's just too damn small for 86kg? He puts himself at a disadvantage before the match even starts. Seems like he's been wrestling up for like the past 5-6 years..... smh

The problem is that the US has a lot of depth from 74-86kg, so no matter where he's at it's going to be very tough to get through. Look at Ringer, he's been a monster for a while but has been kept off the team by the likes of JB and Dake. Now he's up at 86kg with arguably an even tougher roadblock by the name of David Taylor.

i agree. but it didn’t look like weight had much to do with it, he just straight up got his ass whooped. and this is coming from someone who’s been a mark hall fan since he was in high school

@@alovesupreme tbf to Mark, I don't think I've seen anyone ever manhandle Ringer. He's a compact moose. Kinda scary how quick he is too with how solid he is. The Ringer vs DT matches might be fun to watch. I'd also like to see Ringer against Yazdani. He's also got some of that bull you over to him so that could be a fun one.

Hall stated in recent interviews he’s satisfied by taking L’s as long as he doesn’t cut weight ever again

Honestly this is fair. What kills the love of wrestling is the terrible weight cuts and the inability to focus on just getting better in practice.

I’ve never seen Mark Hall look so sluggish & slow… I’m not a fan of wrestlers cutting extreme weight, but I think Hall needs to go down at least one weight class to compete at this level.

Yes I thought I was going crazy but derringer looks massive!! Hall looks smaller. No pun on Hall he is a good wrestler!! Just that he looks small. Makes him a target to get bull dozed on pure weight

Hall has no business being at this weight. He'd do well back down at 79 and just try to contend for a world team. He looked a little chunky, probably just to have enough weight to throw around.

@b.s.c.l2959 So you have no idea what you're talking about apparently. He got second at senior nationals, but he's ranked 7th right now for the weight in the US. He's a 2x junior world champ and cadet world champ. I'm not sure you're in any place to criticize him.
