Alec Baldwin Attorney Drops Bombshell While Grilling Crime Scene Technician

While cross-examining a crime scene technician, Alec Baldwin's defense attorney, Alex Spiro, dropped a bombshell saying that a retired officer went to the police station and dropped off live ammunition that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins after convicted armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed's trial. The officer is reportedly a close friend of the armorer's father. The prosecutor refuted the claim under redirect, stating the ammo brought into the station doesn't match the live ammo on the set of "Rust."

Always considered myself pro-law enforcement but this investigator has ZERO credibility. Defense absolutely destroyed her in my opinion. Proved she is there to regurgitate what the prosecution prepped her to say. She expects this jury to believe she doesn’t recall being told the ammunition was what killed the victim and also exactly what kind it was in terms of matching the live ammo that was in the firearm. “I don’t recall”🤥🤥🤥what a joke. She would have clung to every word regarding that ammo that they were looking for to find the source of how it got on the set. This investigator has zero desire to tell the truth and the whole truth and more so interested in convicting Baldwin and being the prosecutor’s puppet. I think it’s a joke Baldwin is being charged honestly. Had a responsible armorer and this doesn’t happen. Period. .

He knows she doesnt hand over evidence to the defence its not her job but he asked it anyway to get her to say no. He knows her job is to just take the evidence and document it, and pretended he didnt know what that meant. He knows the error happened further up the chain of command but those would be too slick. So he asked a bunch of vague questions to get i dont know responses. Lets say her version is true, someone walked in, gave her some bullets said they were linked to the case, she called out a superior, they said document it and move on. She documented it, and moved on. Lets say while standing there she made idle chat, like she does with everyone, and now you ask her "did you talk about the weather?" "I dont recall", because if she says "no" and you have a recording then shes messed up big. "you told him youd get it rushed?" youd think "No" but cant be sure, because you know you have said that in past, so "i dont recall".

no, he was entering ideas into the evidence by asking her questions she didnt know the answer to. Lets say you're in the box, and you had a conversation with a stranger, now lying will get you sent straight to jail, so only say yes and no when you are sure, now I ask "Isn't it true he asked you the time of day?" "Didn't you tell him it was a nice day?", you just answer "I dunno", but the jury starts getting ideas. So you and everyone else now think someone came in said to her "Look I have the bullets" and she said "Oh thats amazing I will get them to the lawyers right away, trust me" and then buried them, when her stance might be correct someone came in with some bullets, she documented it, and got on with the day with only making small forgettable talk with the person. When she says "No i didnt say that", she isn't remembering the conversation, she is saying "I have never in my life said that", but she cant be sure she didnt make small talk with the guy and say standard cop stuff to them. Its how an exepnsive lawyer turns a missing label on a book look like a conspiracy against their client. Seriously none of the lawyers questions made any sense at all, and had no evidence value. He just had to sell it as a conspiracy.

Because the armorer that was hired for the production was an adolescent kid who was irresponsible - as adolescent kids are - and unqualified for the job. She made personal use of the prop weapons and didn't adequately inspect the weapons after she used them; with disastrous results. The notion that Baldwin bore any criminal liability in this situation is a stretch; a pretty BIG one if you understand how a film set works. Especially since Hannah Gutierrez was rightfully convicted of manslaughter. Responsibility for those weapons was HER JOB. It's the only reason she was on the set at all. BUT, as a producer of the film, Baldwin certainly bears civil responsibility for hiring her. He should and probably will be sued by the Hutchins family, I'm sure. The production insurance should cover whatever settlement is reached, though; that's what it's for. It won't come out of his pocket personally.

I have been on the stand many many times as an expert witness on drug testing and it is very easy to get emotional if you feel as though you are being blamed for something you had nothing to do with. As she said, she has nothing to do with turning over evidence to the defense. She has a boss and the boss told her what to do with what some man off the street brought in. Witnesses like her are used to having their words be twisted by attorneys and she was on guard. As far as remembering every detail, you have to understand that this is not the only case she is working on. If she does not recall every detail then that is understandable and she said so. It is nerve wracking to be on a stand.

Why’s NM going after Alec Baldwin? Everyone involved and others in the industry have said that actors have no responsibility whatsoever over weapons and arming those weapons. The judge in the armer’s trial told the armer that she alone was responsible for the death of the poor woman. So WTF is going on here?

This Troy guy seems like he's trying to stage the case against Seth Kenny & deflect blame away from Reed. Kenny was not some 🌹 in this tragic incident. I think Seth Kenny conspired with others on the Rust crew to create a unsafe set, working conditions to support industry complaints, 📑 grievances. It sounds trite & petty but the film, TV business is full of scummy 🐍. Scams...
