This drill goes through wood like butter. It's got plenty of power. Blasts in screws with no problem also. It's ok going into brickwork although I have found the Ferrex SDS drill works better for brick it goes through it more effortlessly although I don't think Aldi are selling it at the moment.

Thanks @PhillWyattProjects I’ve just tried it on the actual job I bought it for, really impressed with it, did exactly what I wanted it to do, I could have done with a better drill bit too to be fair, typically I can never find one when I need it, I’ll be looking for something else and then find it :) thanks for your comment, I always appreciate them 👍🏻

@@vinnymars I have the above drill too Vinny...it's excellent! However I agree with Phil that SDS takes you to another level when it comes to drilling into masonry or concrete....and no slipping of the drill bit either or having to re-tighten...so if you find yourself having to do a lot of concrete drilling I would recommend the Lidl Parkside "Performance" cordless SDS drill, it's worth having a look at....it's a cracker. But pretty much ANY SDS drill is a good step-up for concrete. Otherwise that fella you have there is a great yoke....a super all-rounder at a great price. I think LIDL & ALDI spoil us with their super DIY deals & 3 year warranty, although like everything else, the prices are creeping up.

Thanks for the advice @typhoontim I think if I bought another drill, my mrs would actually make me live in the shed ( haha) plus I would need a bigger shed( that’s not a bad idea lol) as always, I appreciate all these comments and thanks for taking the time out to make one, best wishes

Hi @NottsBobUK you’re welcome, the only thing I’ve done differently so far is that I’ve tried to add a few #shorts videos, shame about the hazy camera but hey ho, the drill is a beast to be fair, really pleased with it, weather permitting I’ll try get a demo video of it in action, best wishes

@@vinnymars I had noticed the shorts. I prefer the full screen format but younger people and therefore KZread seem to like them. They are definitely promoting you more heavily at the moment. Very interesting.... I might do some too. Keep up the good work, I like it when something goes wrong and you end up swearing lol

Lidl have really good drill i have a really 16mm drill bit for steel

You can’t close the case when the belt clip is on. Good drill for the money, I got mine for £30 on sale
