Male 74 Virginia absolutely fascinated by these videos. Have literally spent hours watching all of them. I think it’s Steve’s personality and craftsmanship along with isn’t this the way things should be made!

I doubt even Alden Restoration themselves could come close to your level of craftsmanship. Bravo!

I've been following you since the grainy footage days, since before "hammertime" and "let's continue" was a thing. It's been fun watching the quality of your videos improve, watching you learn how to be a KZreadr (and all that entails). You are a true and proper craftsman and you take a lot of pride in your work, which I find admirable. You have a good sense of humor and a good moral compass - from calling out inept repairwork to letting your best buddy go when it became necessary. I hope that you keep the videos coming and that business is going well, despite the state of things. Best wishes from Norway! Alright, let's continue!

Sadly, I've hit a point where I only trust people who have shown me their work on KZread (Steve, Trenton & Heath, Jim McFarland, etc.). Too much crap work out there to trust a stranger with my shoes.

A true craftsman, as they used to say, you are worth your salt. You dont take your customers money, you earn it.

I also watch the channel for...the watches. I like your taste in timepieces. But the repairs first. Then the watches. And the humour, I like that too. Heck, I like it all.

Lady viewer here. I love all your videos, but I love seeing the bags get new life. I'm just surprised at the shoddy materials some manufacturers use, then have the gall to charge top dollar.

I'm always jealous of Steve's heavy duty machines that can sew through thick leather when my sewing machine needle breaks on denim. 😞

What do I know about shoe repair? Only what I learned from you Steve. My background is maritime communications, 18 years. But dear God, you can see by looking at it that it isn’t right. I love that you do the channel for the stitching freehand with a utility blade and they are just as consistent as if you'd used whatever the special tool is called to do that. Who has time to go hunt up another tool when you already have the blade right there. I'm guessing that was a somewhat expensive repair, but those are really high quality shoes and the next resole will go so much smoother because of the work you did.
