If immuunresponse to the virus (spike protein) might be the cause of long covid, why not the vaccins as they also trigger the same immuunresponse?

GREAT discussion! I would love to work with Dr. Iwasaki. Given that spike protein exacerbates clots, plasmapheresis has effectively been used to reduce long COVID symptoms. Then there is an issue with IgG4. I have ideas to reduce that, too, as it is believed that IgG4 is protecting spike-producing cells.

More than one thing can be happening in complex systems. Only one or more in individuals diagnosing what is the case will take more time, let alone what can be done to address the symptoms. We will need to have patience and follow the science. 😉👍💖

Long COVID refers to people who developed symptoms that didn't go away after their immune system appeared to clear the virus. They have chronic fatigue, brain fog, enlarged hearts and kidneys, lung problems and an possible an assortment of other lingering symptoms. Scientists are working hard all over the world to understand what is different in the people suffering from this and the similar conditions which existed prior to the pandemic. Those of us who have had our daily lives disrupted by Long COVID are eagerly waiting for reports on news about advances in this area.
