MS type of FLARE ups is what my wife's GP said..... Absolutely occur and hard to diagnose. My wife goes to a GP and he said she should go to a Neurologist and she did not....What a mistake now it's 16 months later still awful

I had long Covid and was getting better. The second shot of the Pfizer vaccine (this is when it first came out, and I had almost died when I was actively infected) not only brought back all my symptoms, but I acquired many more symptoms , they were severe, and I am still dealing with the fallout. Basically, I'm semi-disabled. Paxlovid has done nada.
I agree. I think some people have a RE-infection period where it gets much worse. My wife has 5 months of no smell/taste and then POTs type issues ....

I took my first dose of paxlovid three hours ago and my fever shot up from 98.0 to 103.0. Should I be concerned? Maybe paxlovid is just jump starting my immune system? Fever is good, correct?

Why can't the insurance company be sued for endangering and the mental abuse of the patient? Perhaps this is a stupid question.
My wife, who has stage 4 COPD, and I successfully went Covid free until early last week. We did this by isolating, I continued to wear masks when grocery shopping, etc. Ironically, we had a team of health care professionals visit our house after my wife’s hospitalization for COPD (physical therapy, occupational therapy, home nursing, respiratory help). This included one person doing an initial consultation for each and another coming for the therapy. Whether we got it from one of them, or my wife got it from the emergency room before, it’s been a lesson to us that with her condition, we had to reduce her isolation and it really bit us. I was in bed most of the time she was hospitalized and I brought her home yesterday and, per the doctor’s recommendation, we’ll be contacting hospice care this morning. While life goes on, Covid has really exposed how vulnerable we all are through routine and necessary interactions with others. Thanks for the report.
