Story1:NTA because the bride was being hostile to you for no reason whatsoever and you felt compelled to not go to the wedding because of it and if you did, it would have caused problems down the line,at least the bride is getting therapy and help as well, let's hope that works for her, Story 2:NTA because you have a right to find out what that is, and your parents should tell you that even if it meant doing it in private, maybe that will help one day.

Story 1 I would have broken off contact with the whole circle of friends after being uninvited to the wedding. I also would never have accepted the bride’s apology or resumed contact with any of them.

Story 2: The parents are degenerates. They knew she was dating a sibling, but didnt say anything. Edit: I also think it would be for the best if she told her siblings. Parents that repulsive would probably poison them against her. I also wonder why she _already_ had her biological father blocked on everything - before she even got the results. She side stepped the question like a politician. 😂

I have trust issues because if childhood trauma but not to the extent of this bride. I have tried therapy, counseling and few more things but no results, so to keep my peace of mind I have given up dating for life. I don't want to be in constant pain while destroying someone's life
Story 2. Here the other problem. What if you didn't have sex woth your half sibling. Hear me out. Op stated that dad had an affair with the wife of this guy. Mom slept woth the husband. Op was made from mom and that affair partner. But what if the ex bf was actually the product of his affair partner(the other guys wife) and him. Than technically you didn't sleep woth your half sibling. And sadly, you may never know because he passed away in an accident. But if both ops parents and that boys parents were screwing around woth eachother around the same time, there is a LARGE chance that the other kid could have been not even related. It kind of sucks though either way to have your life turned around like that.
