Thank you , that was a great explanation . BTW on CESSNA 172 the alternate source is located in the cocpit , that's why heater , vents and windows are taken into account .

What is the use of CAS

Redundancy is a word often used in aviation.. However, why is that a second pitot-static tube not fitted to aircraft in the event of a pitot-static tube blockage

If Vne is 200 knots, why have the instrument marked out to 240?
