Фильм және анимация

An excerpt from part three of my Ahsoka series review in which I compare Obi-Wan training Luke on the Millenium Falcon to Ahsoka training Sabine on the ghost.

How I would rewrite the scene: Have BOTH Asoka and Sabine wear the blinders. Have Sabine, frustrated, attempt to cheat by taking off her visor, while Asoka, calm and collected, continues to trounce her while blind. This foreshadows Sabine's potential "fall" to the Dark Side, while making Asoka (& the Force) look more competent.

I’d just make a slight alteration by having Asokha only wearing the visor, to demonstrate that it’s not a trick, and what Sabine could do. Everything else is fine, as Sabine can _still_ try to cheat, even having not used a blindfold. One might argue it would be even worse, as she _should_ have the advantage, but she’s not managing, and so she demonstrates she cares more about winning than in learning.

Ahsoka is basically what if Obi Wan trained Han Solo(sabine) and not Luke(Hera's weird child ) .

This seems to be a theme in the last few shows - Mando S3, Andor, Loki and now Ahsoka - giving us a 30-45 minute show with just 5 minutes worth of actual plot advancement.

This may have been the best part of one of your absolute best videos. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have already watched it twice. I also loved your description of how amazing the show could have been by making a slightly older Jacen the main character. So much wasted potential. Thanks for everything you do - Have a great weekend! 🙏🤩✨

I just kinda realized how badly Luke could have fd up during that lightsaber training on the falcon. One slip of the saber and hull breech to hyperspace leaves them all….. soulless ghosts I think. I can’t remember what happens in a hyperspace breakup.

Looks like at least two aspects of her got developed, leading to a well-rounded character.

Great video. But I think it's worth mentioning that the video plug-ins at the end do obscure some of your parting lines of text.

I have to say, I'd not thought about the hyperspace sequences in the other movies but you're right. It's a narrative technique I'm going to keep in mind for myself.

Wow princess Lea looks strong and powerful in the old movies. too bad disney considers her as non existent and that only their new additions of lame women are valid.

I both have never seen the show and have an American accent. In listening to him talk he keeps naming a character. It sounds like he is saying her name is Huge Wang. Am I hearing that right?😂

The streaming platform disease. Everything is content, which means everything turns into filler, too thin, sort of stretched, like butter scraped over too much bread

Lessons I've somehow learned better than 99.99% of Hollywokes diversity hires. 1) SHOW DON'T TELL! 2) EVERY SCENE SHOULD HAVE A REASON! 3) CUT REDUNDANT SCENES! 4) A Heroes Journey 5) Weakness is relatable but pathetic is repulsive. If you can't tell the difference maybe you shouldn't be making million dollar films. 6) A GOOD STORY SHOULD EXIST BEFORE A PREACHY MESSAGE IS ADDED! Although NO preachy message would be best.

Star Wars has always been pretty vague on the timeline. Even Empire Strikes Back basically made Luke's training with Yoda seem like an extended weekend holiday.

Actually the training on Degobah always felt like months. The problem was the Leia/Han sequence felt like days or a couple weeks at best. That's what created the confusion.
