I don't think Saji really pushed himself nearly as far as Zoro had to either. I just think he was already drained from the rest of the day, and after he took out a commander he figured he could go ahead and rest. In my head, if you're passed out you don't have the ability to smile. I don't think he was sleep for real. With that said. Sanji still isn't beating Zoro

@@illyronx2824 Comparing Luffy and Zoro directly is difficult as blades have always been a hard counter to Luffy’s Devil fruit. 9 sword style Zoro is debatably able to defeat Luffy in any gear. Even 5 if Luffy is unable to turn Zoro’s swords into rubber.

Zoro was so RAW this episode also I really like how the anime added more personality to king (which was missing in the manga) bro was just as determined as zoro to win amazing fight imagine what they bout to cook with g5👀

It'll always be hilarious how people try to put Kidd and Law over Zoro when: 1) Zoro was constantly hurting Kaido on his own Pre-ACOC whereas Kidd and Law in a TAG-TEAM needed their awakening to finally hurting Big Mom (which they couldn't even land without each other's help). 2) Zoro unlocked the exact same ability that allowed Luffy to 1v1 a Yonko. Hence Oda specifically making his opponent someone who laughs off attacks that even yonkos are hurt by. 3) Kidd and Law couldn't even actually KO Big Mom with their own attacks. They needed a ring-out victory PLUS conveniently existing bombs to barely cheese out a win since their own attacks weren't good enough. 4) Big Mom didn't even use Advanced Conqueror's which is confirmed strong enough to oneshot Kidd. 😂

I just love the poetry of their branching difference. Their stories meeting their captains are near identical. Their captains saved them. But the way they developed differed. Because their captains' final goal is different. In a sense, in this combat, the only ones who fought are not only Zoro and King's two ideals and power, but also Luffy and Kaido's goals. Luffy's goal is larger than life and Zoro believed it so he grew stronger to support it. Meanwhile Kaido's goal stagnated and, in turn, King's power also stagnated.

I loved this episode. Full focus on Zoros fight, and even the flashback was short and to the point so we could continue with the action. And boy was that some action

I lost my freaking mind seeing this episode. Toei is cooking so hard!!!

This episode was a monster from start to finish 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Absolutely amazing episode. Toei has been on fire with Sanji and Zoro, and even parts of Franky's, Robin's, and Jinbei's fights. Luffy and Kaido's finale is truly going to be unprecedented if what we've seen so far is any indication. P.S. Zoro is my favorite character and I love seeing him get the respect he deserves, but I think we should pump the breaks on the "he's the strongest right hand" talk. Now that we know Shanks' higher ups are literally the only strong guys in his entire fleet, I have to assume Benn Beckman is an absolute monster.

Pure face melting awesomeness… 23 minutes of it! Well worth 2 week wait! Zoro the king of hell has arrived!

You need split second reflexes in order to successfully hit King, because King also does split second moves from turning on his flames to turning it off

Did you know in this Ep, during one of zoro's Conquerors outburst you can see the Lines spell out Zolo/Zoro (the L and R appear under each other, an adaptation for English and Japanese watchers) and During a close frame of King using fire, There is a small bit of Arabic writing that says "I love macaroni" (was confirmed by an animator for One Piece that worked on this ep)

Zoro had surpassed Ryuma dragon feet in this episode. He has slayed an even stronger dragon. This is why I love Zoro so much!

I just love the parallel of King and Kaido's meeting has to Luffy meeting Zoro.

Fun fact, King's last attack would do nothing to Katakuri since he has logia properties and King can't add haki to his fire attack since it was already confirmed you can't use haki on a fire attack when Kinemon was able to cut Kaido's blast breath, he shouldn't be able to cut that if Kaido can coat his attack with haki but it's not possible to do that, more example that you can't add haki to natural elements is when Kizaru attacked Marco his lazer went through Marco's body.

Having grown up with that show I've been hoping one day it would happen somehow lol epic battle. And to mel with anyone complaining about the animation style for the past 2 big fights. It's been awesome

King is a menace, the man deserves a ton of respect on his name. He earned his stripes. Zoro however, he’s a ballistic missile of an animal. A real monster. Roronoa Zoro is too much to handle ! After watching this episode I’d say all he needs to do is turn all three of his swords into black blades and master the King of hell state before he can face off against Mihawk for the worlds greatest swordsman ⚔️🗡️

It’s actually crazy to think that mihawk is levels above where zoro is right now. If the story didn’t set mihawk up to be zoro’s goal/mentor, many people would have zoro over mihawk by now. It’s crazy

People let’s not forget Zoro wasn’t fresh either he just fought Kaido and was healed that doesn’t mean he was at 100% when doing all this Zoro is built different!!

@@landobridge2476 not true, the medicine is just like a pain killer, him feeling great dosent mean his body is 100% xD. If you rewatch this episode, he was already facing the repercussions. After this he meets grim reaper because of the amount of damage he took is inhuman. Idk where on earth you getting 100% from.

The nod to the mark of Zoro at the end was a nice touch.

I had to watch this ep like three times, honestly thought they weren’t gonna go this hard for zoro. In my head canon this officially puts Zoro as the second strongest in the crew behind luffy. Without question. I feel like this is what Oda wanted the fight to be and just couldn’t put all of the extra stuff in the manga while staying on track for his timeframe.

Bruh these are just over-exaggerated animated fight . Just because it's all flashy and light doesn't mean much. Remember zoro vs killer? When zoro was going to slash it lookee like he is charging up and traveling miles while it was only few feet away in reality. Don't let false animation mess up with scaling

The king awakens! the king of hell is one to behold! I feel there is a shape in one of the short frames when he turns on his conquer first time, can't pause it on the moment tho.

This episode made me so much more pumped up for the G5 Luffy & Kaido Fight

Go read the manga and compare their fights zoro vs king was on the scale of sanji vs queen🤣 u zorotards are always like that when sanji does something sick and peak everyone pretend they didnt see that but when zoro made s hawk sweat u all made it like the world was fuckin ending. 1 thing i would like to point out is that in the manga after sanji got his germa genes powerboost he dispatched queen rather easy like he didn't struggle much in the fight. king is way stronger then queen but as the manga stated for zoro he almost couldn't beat king and had to dig deep. oddly thats the things the anime did different, sanji struggled more with queen in the anime and zoro at the end seems a bit more easy going

The thing is even luffy and lucci couldn't do shit to a Seraphin, who isn't even half of terrifying as king is That was the case with zoro before he knew his weakness The attacks which hurt even kaido were useless against king Meanwhile same queen was getting hurt from a slap of chopper The difference was too much

King gets disrespected by the community after he got defeated but that's MF is strong af

People seem to forget Oda literally said he rushed through the final fights because of how drawn out wano was and how he had pressure to work on other things like the live action, film red, etc. Oda supervises the anime so I’m sure this is pretty damn close to what he wanted from the Zoro king finale
