  Ok, so Shanks has to be top 1 by a large margin and must have surpassed Roger... there's no way Oden was that much stronger than Kidd post-Wano, in fact, I see Kidd as stronger than Oden from 20 years ago. Maybe that's a bad take but if that's the case then Shanks' divine departure has to be much stronger than Roger's. Otherwise, how did Oden take it point-blank and recover immediately? He did call Roger a monster but ultimately made it out cleanly. As for Shanks, to use it and just one tap Kidd and killer like that is ridiculous

  Watching the animated version... I felt two things , 1st Shanks outclassed Kid with his Future sight. Kid's haki proficiency let him down big time. He couldn't react at all and Shanks didn't even give him any chance after seeing the future. 2nd , putting any guy other than Emperors , Admirals , Gorosei ( due to regen ) , Old Gen trio like Rayleigh/Garp/Sengoku in place of kid. I don't see a different result of the clash.

  I keep up with the manga, and do NOT watch the anime (because Toei ruins pacing and breaks canon). I tuned in just to watch Shanks obliterate Kid in full. Well Worth It. Rest In Pieces Bozo, your devil fruit was too cool for you, Useless Ass Mid.

  Kid getting one shot will forever leave a bad taste in my mouth, the power scaling went out the window after that chapter it should've been a low to mid diff fight. I agree Oda must hate Kid look at the Law vs Blackbeard fight for comparison.

  @@asnor7588 I've said this before Shanks needs to be a glass canon just to balance him out. Shanks has become that one weapon that gets added to a game and becomes the new meta from day 1.
