A good showcase here, too, is that when Law sees Blackbeard raise his left hand in the episode, you see Law try and take one of his hands off of his sword's handle too, but realizes he can't parry Blackbeard one-handed so he puts it back. Smart bit of silent storytelling that signifies the difference in strength, since Blackbeard was holding off Law with one hand while Law needed both. So he just had to stand there and take the Black Vortex since both of his hands were already occupied.

@@BDAraw Are you sincerely suggesting the reason for WB not using a named attack at Marineford was that Edward Newgate literally did not have any named attacks in his entire arsenal? In One Piece? Really? What sense does that make when every other Devil Fruit users in the series has named attacks? Sabo knew and used 'Hiken' 30 seconds after his first bite. That's like suggesting Mihawk doesn't have named attacks when every other swordsmen does. For me atleast the implication is that WB named attacks were likely so powerful the collateral tsunamis risked killing absolutely everyone including WB himself. What we saw was what WB could throw around without killing members of his own fleet such as Ace.

I really like they added in the "Ahh... Emotionless Excursion" stuff. That cover story, Enel's, SHGF's, and maybe Gedatsu's are the most relevant cover stories right now.

There was no ice on Cracker's biscuits. The simple explanation is that Van Augar is stronger than Cracker. He was one of the og Black Beard members and narratively Black Beard's crew will surpass all other pirate crews other than the Straw Hats since their the main pirate villains so the possible 3rd on the Black Beard ship being stronger than Big Mum's 3rd does make sense.

I think I get why the animators did red lightning for armament haki. Black lightning with red outline is how they have shown conquerers so far both in clashes and with advanced uses so that depiction will continue. However, Oda loves to throw around this lightning on damn near everyone‘s attacks and clashes nowadays so there needs to be a way to differentiate between conquerors haki and regular armament, hence the color difference. This way they can be true to all the lightning in the manga but actually make it easier to distinguish between character‘s using Armament, conqueror‘s or even Ryou (which tends to be the character‘s signature color), it’s actually pretty smart way of giving the viewer some kind of visual indicator for what power is being used when…or they could just be using whatever visuals they want with zero intentionality and I’m just getting my hopes up for no reason😅

I love Garp but bro was not winning if the fight went on. Oda always brings up an excuse like a jumping or a sacrificing whenever he does fights with Old characters. Happened with WB , Happened with Garp. Kuzan barely used any moves lol.

Until Ben Beckman does something the BB pirates by far the strongest pirate crew. Kuzan and BB could honestly beat the strawhats.

Think about it. Shp crew is overpowered. Zoro, sanji, jinbei, and robin are all broken compared to bb's crew except kuzan.

BB himself solos the whole verse besides luffy because main character. Devil fruit user can”t counter the Yami Yami and Zoro/Shanks can’t cut/Haki through the Gura Gura no mi. Most underrated character power scaling wise.

Kuzan was the definition of aura in this episode.

I'm consistently amazed that anyone takes the BB Pirates seriously. Blackbeard himself is top tier, but aside from Kuzan, the rest of the crew is high key fodder. I don't even know why they're there, ngl.

@@grantisshananaa4906 With the Straw Hats, even the ones who aren't amazing fighters still have a clear role on the crew and have contributed in significant ways. The same can't be said of BB's crew. (Maybe not a great point of comparison though considering one crew is the main cast and the other barely shows up.)

Did u forget that pretty the majority of Zoro attacks are speed blitz type attacks. Also bro really forgot Zoro has air slashes for range attacks. Zoro's air slashes are stronger than Kaido's full dragon form slashes. lol. Zoro has great close in speed and attack speed. Laws sword is in pieces if he tries to block an acoc attack with it.

A lot of people seem not to realize that the quakes from tremor fruit can pulse repeatedly, it isn’t always a single quake. Example being that midair quake BB did, another being the angry dad quake punch WB hit Akainu with. If you watch, he held akainu on his fist for a few seconds after impact while more quakes pulsed through his body and destroyed the surroundings, before he finally fell

We know the anime possibly from notes is foreshadowing stuff😅. Idk what to think with this haki. I personally don't feel BB will get CoC but we'll see.. I was complaining I hate how the anime skips the cover pages then boom the flashback happens 😅. Still wished they would've shown katakuri scene though. Cracker was against a admiral and sniper , I can't blame his failure 😂. This battle was extremely nicely animated. Glad it wasn't the over the top animation yet still amazing. Can't wait to see that pummeling from a certain pain coming soon😂💯

Its just special things for it to look good. The last time the anime tried to foreshadow or confirm an information didn't exactly turn out true. ( They kinda confirmed that the person in Hawkins's cards that was gonna die was Drake which wasn't true)

If Law effected his whole crew to turn them back into men then I definitely think that’s conquerors.

@@FrescoRahbo apparently oda making things up as he goes 😂 but it’s possible because armament can hit logia’s and ryou is flow so haki can flow into others. It’s definitely not conquerors tho or thier swords won’t touch like roger and whitebeard or luffy and kaido clash

i think people forget that it's a tremor fruit. it creat tremor hence why law's whole body was shaking. it's the best interpretation of the fruit in the anime so far

I like that idea of law having another ability like a plain instead of room not for nothing but laws and all around bad ass so if he doesn’t atleast get away he’s capped his hype .

Notice how Van Augur could one shot Cracker's Biscuit Soldiers but not Jean Bart. That's a pretty decent durability feet when taken at face value.
