Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition is a real-time strategy video game developed by Tantalus Media and Forgotten Empires and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is a remaster of the 2005 game Age of Empires III, celebrating the 15th anniversary of the original. It features improved visuals, a remastered soundtrack, two new game modes, and four new civilizations, plus African and Mediterranean-themed downloadable content as of June 2022. The Mediterranean expansion introduces the Italians as a playable civilization, which was planned for the original version of the game but did not appear. It includes all previous expansions from the original game. It was released on October 15, 2020 for Windows.

You know what I really love about AOE 3?. They actually have building damage and ship damage physics. Cannon shot will actually create holes in buildings where they land. The building destruction physics is also one of the best in my opinion.

Original Aoe 3 still looks good graphically and the physics are done in detail. Great game but for some reason it hasn't got the praise the second one did.
3 wasn't my favourite Age of Empires game, especially with the editor being so confusing to work with, but that goddamn intro was the most epic version of the theme I've ever heard. Still is.
The fact AOE 3 DE got a remastered version of the intro and AOE 2 DE didnt... im totally for it lol
The original one was genuinely better.
