    Every single time Conan is asked a question on a serious topic, he always comes up with a perfect answer. He is such an intelligent and well read person, and you can tell it also from his comedy, which seems juvenile only if you don't scratch the surface.

    you can also tell he always makes sure he gives the right answers where he knows if he says something bad on the media it will gain exposure e.g. the marry, shag and kill question he said "kill kimmel" because everyone would know it would be taken as a joke since they know each other very well so he always gives the most diplomatic answer.

    I met Conan who was walking with his wife in Central Park. As a tourist I had a camera in my hand, and his wife reached out as if to say, 'I will take a picture if you want'. I was so worried about coming across as rude as rude by getting his wife to take a picture I put the camera away and just spoke to him instead. I slightly regret it now because I have no evidence of the wonderful time I met conan

    Mo Nup, not good enough. Lines have to be drawn when thing's are dire. Trump's deeply racist, corrupt, an icon and ally to fascists, and an particularly aggressive enemy of the people. No amount tough interviewing is going to put a dent in his agenda, on the contrary it only gives him oxygen.

    Jason011987 I 100% agree with your fuck tr**p attitude, but I agree with Conan about interviewing him and asking questions that are important. It's a way of holding him accountable and a way of making him aware of the world outside of the fascists he associates with.

  • @FeralWorker

    @FeralWorker

    6 жыл бұрын

    How is it a way of holding him accountable? Conan asks questions and he sits there and lies or spews the usual crap… Not just pointless-he wins. Go back and watch the one Colbert did with him. Conan makes money from ratings. An interview with Trump would get him lots. He may be sincere in his (hypothetical) intentions but that shouldn’t be mistaken for the substance of his motivations. Trump is not misguided, he is a monster at the head of a monstrous machine. Obama was bad enough but was far more effective at maintaining the illusion of stability. People in the US need to take Trump’s presidency as a wake-up call and organise for revolution… which, though not near enough, many are doing.

    It is no wonder why I got initially attracted to Conan's show ever since I saw him. It was like no other since I usually get bored of talk shows. He is the only tv show host to effectively spark my interest as entertaining. He is authentic, honest, talented, witty, sarcastic, and not to mention an all around funny guy. It's hard to find authenticity these days, especially on the tv. But when you see Conan, everything changes. His charisma is floating literally anywhere he goes and takes the stage with zero effort. THAT is the most respectable tv show host we need to see every day. I love Conan so dearly and this video says it all.

    Conan answered that question (about whether or not he would have President Trump on his show) in such a dignified and diplomatically praiseworthy manner, and I just found it extremely refreshing. Don't get me wrong, I'm not all rainbows and sunshine in regards to President Trump, but I'm getting a little sick of how fanatically hateful some of these Hollywood "elites" are. I believe when Ellen Degenerous was asked the same question, she said that she would flat out refuse to have him on her show if the opportunity ever presented itself. I just feel like it would be better to put more effort into trying to understand rather than condemn. The steps to enlightenment all starts with a conversation, NOT intolerance. 🇺🇸

    Conan's more of an academic than people give him credit for, which is shocking given his educational background. I guess it's because he plays up the clown shtick, but if you want to see him chat about subjects that are important to him, check out his Jibber Jabber sessions. They're long and sometimes dry (esp if you're expecting funny Coco), but they're really interesting lol

Conan did a good job handling it, of course. but a) it's a stupid qudstion since he's clearly a natural redhead and b) it's very rude and gross. i remember when someone asked felicia day a similar question at a panel once and it was extra awk since she didn't understand what the phrase meant, but at least everyone acknowledged it was a fucked up and rude question to ask.
