Well let me tell you that the African presence in Turkey goes back hundreds of years to when enslaved Africans were instrumental in the construction of the Ottoman Empire. Today the Afro-Turkish community proudly claim their African heritage! From WWI pilots to powerful officials in the Sultan's court, watch to find out more!

    We Turks were foreigners not because we didn't want African origin Turkish citizens, but because we didn't know about those people, because there was World War II and finally Turkey was formatted like a computer. It took a long time to collect those files again

    I used to enjoy your videos but it seems like the only origin you know about when it comes to our people is slavery .. the truth about our diaspora really goes beyond that and I wish slavery wasn’t always your conclusion..

    Je vois ce que vous voulez dire, mais il y a des Afro-Turcs en Turquie et ils sont la majorité par rapport aux migrants africains. par exemple à 4,30m on voit un homme heureux mais on voit qu’il n’a rien de turc en lui. à 4,34 m, il y a un homme portant des lunettes de soleil et je le vise aussi. après le reste, je vous assure qu’ils ont le turc

    "Slaves" in Ottomans were not like "Slaves" in Europe or USA, "Slaves" in Ottoman Empire could move up in the empire as everyone was actually a slave to the empire.
