The hot dog is closer to a corn dog but they dust it in sugar

In Korea, they call them Hot Dogs but they’re actually very similar to Corn Dogs :)

When people complain about young people if I can, I introduce them to these lads.

Hey guys the first dish ttebokki is a slightly chewy thick noodle made out of rice… it’s in a tomato like sauce and generally has a little amount of spicyness depending on your heat tolerance.

it's not tomato sauce. it's a gochujang based sauce.

Tteokbokki is a rice cake with a flat fish cake & boiled eggs in a spicy gochujang (chili paste) sauce. you can dip the Korean version of fried spring roll, Kimbap (Korean sea weed rice roll that looks similar to Sushi roll), Sondae (blood sausage), sometimes comes in rose and with cheese on top.

4:20 Ravioli is Italian.

I follow their channel of years now and started to look for and try korean food. It is so good! And it is worth going true the older videos as well. They introduce Korean food to everyone.

If you want to know a bit more about all the foods they ate, check out the episode when they first tried them in England. Kdog places are popping up all over the US now. Sometimes not sweet on the outside but rolled in french fries or other things (even hot Cheetos) before frying and filled with cheese or hotdog or ttoek.

korean street food is easiest to get into since the taste is quite familiar.. and u can never go wrong with korean bbq... i like a good jigae on rainy days.. also pajeon.. u should try it.. to eat bibimbap, u should mix everything in ur bowl together before eating.. korean fried chicken is another level.. i stopped eating kfc, texas chicken and nandos since i've discovered korean fried chicken..hahahha 😅

Yes, eomuk is the Korean name for it. I have a vague memory of watching Maangchi making it by putting fish and flour into a blender to make a paste out of it, flatten, and cut into strips or triangles.

Ravioli is a stuffed pasta originating in Italy ..... not even close in looks to what was just served. The group seventeen spent time in Italy and described it as Italian dumplings. What they ate is tteokboki.

I love Jolly and TKE. They make great videos. We are lucky enough to have a lot of Korean places near Los Angeles. Korean Hot dogs use rice flour instead of corn flour. It gives it a slightly crunchier feel and IMO tastes way better. They also have a lot of options like half dog/half cheese or potato squares like fries on the outside. I would think that New Orleans has some Korean places around if you look. (Just did a google search and there are plenty near you).
