What a cute, nice little house !! I love it !

I love seeing how other tiny house owners decorate and how they take advantage of every inch of space. I live in a 320 square foot house. I have a small kitchen and a fairly decent size bathroom. I added my own closets and cabinets in the main room to give me clothing storage. I have a regular size shower. I don't need much space. Easy to keep clean and easy to heat. I have a lot of natural sun light in my house. Each tiny house is unique in it's own way.

It's surprising what you fine here in the desert. There are quite a few RV parks here with tiny homes for sale, the prices are starting to come down now, when I bought they were selling like hotcakes. I have seen one that has been reduced from $50 grand, now down to $35 grand. I've been inside of it and it's a very nice tiny house, I have become friendly with the realtor and she took me through this one and a couple others she has for sale. I have also noticed that Caliente Springs are lowering their prices and their the most expensive in the area.

That is the future of housing. Now the big job is getting municipalities at the behest of banks and developers to stop discriminating and restricting their placement on private lots so that people aren't at the mercy of what are essentially mobile home operators.

Really adorable. You can do so much with them. With a small couch and some throws . How awesome is that? Thank you and your friend for sharing Steve. Very lovely area too! You want to downsize as you get older not upgrade . Too much work good grief Charlie Brown. 🎈🌹🌹🎈

Exactly Alex! I couldn't take the snow, ice and cold anymore, unless one is content with staying in their home for the winter, why stay there. This has been a cold winter here, at least that is what I've been told but I look forward to really exploring the area and there are many free options too. Wonderful place to live.

That was fun. She's a very nice lady, and although her home looks very nice, she'll clearly enjoy having some projects in her home to do. I was thinking she might want to do some healing art project to hand on her wall to cover some of the outlets. I totally agree, I'd much rather have too many outlets than not enough!

Ive been gone since 9.40 AM and got home by 3pm or after and went out to breakfast thrift stores and eye doctor !Going to three thrift stores on Saturday ! Today I got 4 DVDS packer sweatshirt packer spring summer jacket note book paper colored pencils box to keep them in !

This is actually a RV park. Tiny homes, where they are becoming even more popular, have limitations on where they can be parked. Tiny homes are on wheels so they are allowed in most of the RV parks. There are now a few parks that are designated, tiny homes only, but they are few and far between.

I’d love to live there but I thought it would be to expensive but now I’m encouraged, maybe it’s time to put my house on the market and think about moving west! I know I couldn’t ask for nicer neighbors! Thanks for sharing this Steve.

California seems like a safe blue state, whereas AZ may flip red at any point. I have also considered NM and CO. My partner, Frank, most likely will not want to move. My health and mental health are so contingent on sunny weather. With or without him, I will most likely make the move within the next 2-5 years [maybe sooner!!!]. Cheers, love and hugs to you!!

Shilela, I saw the HBO series first and then went to the books and yes the endings are very different. I totally loved the series as the characters were wonderful and the men were to die for. Erick was my favorite. I also loved how Alan Ball was able to tie in social issues into the story. Once I saw the intro and the "God Hates Fangs" sign , I knew this was not going to be a horror show but a fun ride. Yes, there's some graphic violence but it didn't bother me.

She said she moved in on November 31st. Hmmmm. She was nice to invite you to come and tour.

I didn't have a calendar then, I know it was the last day of the month. I rented a home right across the street from the time I arrived in October until I moved into my home. I allowed the previous owners to stay a extra month as their kids had plans to visit them in November

Yes, I believe they are built on a trailer and then pulled to the location. There are places across the US that build new park models and they can be fabulous. If one purchases new, the delivery price can be quite high.

I love that people are starting to realize that park model mobiles and RVs are the original "tiny homes". cheaper, more space, and actually better than the things being pushed by rabid tiny home cheerleaders who keep trying to re-invent the wheel.
