It's not that The Elite was a threat to AEW. It was that The Elite is taking over because they don't agree with TK's direction for AEW. But they need to go even more evil. Five hours of tv they can really take this next level and they aren't. They also have tons of talent laying around start using them for some of these match fodder. That said - AEW does need some heat on these feuds.

I can’t stand this time of year and PPV. It’s weeks of people o don’t know or care about showing up to challenge someone with no storyline. I don’t watch NJPW or CMML, so I just don’t care. I DO care about the main event match. If Swerve loses and they put the belt on Osprey, I’m bailing out on AEW. I’m done with this being a promotion that’s booked (as much as you can say it’s booked) to please Dave Meltzer. I’m finished. I gave it a chance, they had a good two years or so, and then everything went to hell.

Tk is a matchmaker, not a booker. Putting together random matches for no reason on a weekly basis doesn't make you a booker lol 💯

We need JD, Solomonster and content creators who think alike because enough is enough. AEW feels like I'm watching a circus nowadays. What happened to the mission?

I expect stories to start AFTER Forbidden Door. FD has no story, it's just to showcase other promotions.

I’m not gonna lie, I liked how organized and sequenced this weeks Dynamite was minus the Jericho segment, even though the ending made me interested to see where this goes for Private Party. I’d rather have Jericho go against people who have no momentum and see where this could go as opposed to wasting someone’s momentum like Cole, Kingston, and Starks.

We are getting decent wrestling on AEW but we need more stories on television.🤔

God I love the honesty coming off of Off The Script it's so genuine and authentic which is why more people should subscribe to this content as well as become a member of the venue plus they are not wrong about Jericho's gimmick and I can't disagree with them what's so ever and with Mercedes Moné vs Stephanie Vaquer should be a barn burner. Loved the action packed match with Rey Phoenix and Will Ospreay.

That same reign tangent about Swerve can also be attributed to Priest's reign. Both have been a non-factor.

Priest at least had the Drew/Punk feud to keep his compelling. Also I’m sorry but nothing makes me roll my eyes harder than when someone criticizes AEW & people go “but… but… WWE” or “keep that same energy towards…” etc. Like OMG STFU, I don’t mean to come off as a prick, but Jesus Christ, even if you make a good point & are 100% correct that doesn’t invalidate the flaws on AEW TV. Three things I like about aew show main event blow my mind between Rey Phoenix and osprey the ending with swerve osprey and that brawl between mjf and roosh

The jobber for Rush…”Deonn Rusman” is actually from Alaska but trained at Black and Brave under Seth Rollins and Marek Brave. He wrestles a ton in new jersey at my local indie. Very underrated guy, wish we could’ve seen him offense from him. He’s been on dark/ROH a few times before as well

Osprey is not loosing to Swerve. WCW repeat, Osprey winning streak is being accumulated like Goldberg.

The AEW world title is in a weird place because it can go a few ways but because of how it’s been booked whichever way they don’t go fans are gonna kind of be rightfully pissed. because it feels like you need to do osprey winning the title at Wembley but you can also do osprey versus Danielson at Wembley with Osprey already having the title or versus MJF, but then it also feels like they’re clearly in the background building a storyline where hangman page comes back and takes the title off of swerve and joins up with the heel elite. like that just sitting there, but that only works if swerve keeps the title, but swerve can’t keep the title because Osprey has to win it. I’m legit curious to see which way they choose to go about it. Tony has a lot of potential matches so I guess it’s really just him deciding which one does he think needs the title more🤷🏾‍♂️

The lack of storylines are killing AEW. A good match is great, but a storyline makes it memorable. Even the Attitude era, average matches became memorable due to the storyline.

Learning tree gimmick is the go away heat we have all feared We need some storytelling and major builds heading out of Forbidden Door into All In If not more people are going to be NOT watching and purchasing ppvs

I love how Jericho is getting under your skin HAHAHA As long as this gimmick gets Big Bill, the bounty hunter and now Private Party over, then it's great👍

I can't even bare to look at the trash that is Monday Night Raw but you'll keep covering it every week because that's where your fanbase is. If AEW was smart, have Don Callis want Osprey to do the Tiger Driver to end Swerve, but chooses not to because of how it effected Danielson, and because of it loses. So Osprey joins the tournament to have a chance to face Swerve again, and his punches are stiffer, and ends up going heel, by doing the tiger driver on Swerve, but still loses. Only to attack swerve after the match, and does the tiger driver again and going full heel with Don Callis has his actual manager.

I didn’t think Ospreay vs Fenix was a great match, more like a good match. I think it’s because I knew that Ospreay was going to win the match. And when I already know or guess who’s going to win, days before the match starts, it’s very hard for me to care about the actual match and in the match, i can’t see the challenger win the match, whether it’s a championship match or not. it’s not just for this match, but many other matches in AEW, WWE, NJPW and TNA. It might seem very strange to most people, but that’s how i feel with most wrestling matches I watch weekly.

I watch AEW so I’m not saying this to hate on them. There’s literally no stories and the stories they do have end up being meaningless in the long run or just make no sense. It feels like they write these up on weekly basis and just make them up as they go some weeks. That and they just throw these absolutely random matches in to the show. If they’re gona actually compete with WWE then they need to figure out the writing part of things because just having two guys that are good in the ring with each other means nothing if there’s no compelling storyline behind it

AEW has such legitimately great matches just about every single week… that it’s just such a shame that everything around it is just ridiculous lately. The Elite challenging a random unnamed AEW team to Blood and Guts for no reason whatsoever? Answered by The Acclaimed from out of nowhere who suddenly want to be in a vicious Blood and guts match after years of comedy and scissor me daddy’s ? With ZERO story or build up. Huh??? They announce that we have QUALIFYING matches again next week. Where challengers wrestles Champions just to see if they are worthy of wrestling AGAIN for a Title shot? Huh?? We have a promo for Mercedes and Stephanie Vaquero for their Title vs Title match at Forbidden door. Right BEFORE Mercedes defends that title against someone we have NEVER HEARD OF who has suddenly qualified for a shot at the championship they just advertised was going to be defended at a big PPV match in two weeks. Huh?? In an interview Orange Cassidy brings out Willow to thank her for backing him and suddenly Brisco jumps in front of her for a wild funny promo then they cut to the next segment before Willow says one word. Etc etc. Just baffling sloppy stuff that makes no sense. But then we have Ospray Phoenix in a PPV quality main event that rocks the house. And we have MJF who is far and away the best thing about AEW and the one man they CANNOT be without. All Tony has to do is hire a couple of good writers to help him out. He has the platform. He has the roster. It really should be so much better than what it is.

Well…. So far I have no interest in buying Forbidden Door AEW builds are subpar, Dynamite was a mix bag for me RUSH MJF match next Wednesday should be good
