This is great. I think that all the best Aerosmith songs haven't made the cut for their respective albums. Why hasn't this one been released officially on Permanent Vacation, why haven't they released Deuces Are Wild on Pump, why haven't they released Lizard Love, Black Cherry, Wham Bam, Legendary Child, Yo Momma, Meltdown, Strange... on Get A Grip, Bacon Biscuit Blues, Bridges Are Burning, Trouble, Little Grass Shack, Loretta, Where The Sun Never Shines, What Kind Of Lover, Innocent Man, Heart Of Passion, When The Monkey Comes... on Nine Lives. They have tons of great songs which they couldn't release because of the record labels disliking them. Fun fact. Because of the outtakes from Get A Grip that I listed, Steven had to complete a sex addiction rehab program.

Yeah they have so many good outtakes. Stylisticly the first part doesn't fit with the slick hair metal sound of Permanent Vacation, maybe why they left it off? Could've replaced that instrumental "The movie" though.

It actually was officially released! Just very obscurely. It was on a Japanese EP titled Vacation Club. The other tracks on the EP are just alternate mixes of Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Angel, and Rag Doll. But then there's this as the lone new song! They also recorded a version with Willie Nelson, which was forgotten until years later. It was uncovered and included on The Essential Willie Nelson, albeit under the title One Time Too Many. Sadly, that version seems to not be available on the streaming version of the album, so you'll probably have to track down a CD copy. There are also videos on KZread of Steven performing it with Willie live.

Edit: Well, I'm seeing other comments saying they owned it on a cassingle back in the day. So it's very possible I was wrong! 😅 But it was definitely on that Japanese EP, because I own it both on vinyl and CD! 😄 I'm not sure if it was on a B-side to a single in the US. But it was on a Japanese EP titled Vacation Club. Perhaps you had that? The other tracks on the EP are just alternate mixes of Dude (Looks Like A Lady), Angel, and Rag Doll. But then there's this as the lone new song! They also recorded a version with Willie Nelson, which was forgotten until years later.
