I landed at Dublin Airport just as the Irish soccer team were returning from Italia '90. There were thousands of people at the airport - they hadn't won, but did far better than anyone had expected, and so returned to a hero's welcome. If this was what Aer Lingus flights were really like, it's the only airline I'd ever fly.
I just love Saoirse. As far as I'm concerned, she did "The Lovely Bones," therefore she can do no wrong.

On a list of movies I have watched only once and vowed to never see again if it can be helped, one of them is The Lovely Bones. Not that it was horrible....it broke my heart a great deal.

@@Athlynne 😢 I absoulutley understand. When she started meeting other kids that had died, I was a mess. Then to see hundreds of them towards the end destroyed me. After watching it I immediately went to my son and hugged him as tight as I humanly could and kissed every inch of his face and couldn't say enough I love you's, he thought I was watching the News again.
I think one of the writers thought “how can I put a ton of dogs in one sketch?” and another thought “I really want to make a great sequel to our Colonel Angus sketch.” and they made both sketches threw ‘em together for time’s sake.
as an Irish person i am GREATLY offended there wasnt any drunks or leprechauns in this clip

The only culture it's still ok to spoof on is the Irish apparently, and there's really not that much even there to joke about. There's not a whole lot of creativity in the sketches on this show at all anymore. The pre-taped segments are still good, but the skits tend to be pretty hacky

I honestly think they were expecting diddly eye jigs and 'bejaysus an begorrah' ha what they got was inner city dubliners on a trip to the bog for the weekend. Well you can imagine the faces on some of them when the alcohol started flowing. I think a few were genuinely scared.

One of my brothers went to Ireland with a cousin, and some girls made a gesture he didn't recognize. Later he learned it meant that she wanted him to come into her three times or something like that.
That was a good one! I enjoyed that ! You know, things like this really happen in life! We just laugh and laugh❣️❣️❣️❣️

3 Irishmen in a bar. Paddy says "My local's better than this. In my local, you buy 2 drinks and the 3rd's free" Mick says, "Well in my local you buy 1 drink you get the 2nd free" Murphy says, "That's nothin'. In my local you buy the 1st drink, then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th & 7th are free. Then you go out the back and get a shag. "WOW," says the other two. "Has that actually happened to you?". "No," says Murphy, "But it happened to my sister."
This would obviously never happen in Ireland but also actually it kind of could happen in Ireland
I like how this just ends up being really sweet
