Adventure Around Lake Huron on our Janus Motorcycles Halcyon 450's - Almost 1,500 Miles!

Summer of 2023:
After around 1,500 miles, we have finished our adventure! We had the first two days pretty well planned out as far as the route (except the hotels, which we chose on the fly). We started just West of Grand Rapids, MI, traveled all the way up North, over the "Mighty Mac", through the U.P. and then into the Canadian side of Sault Ste. Marie, where we stayed the first night.
The next morning, we worked our way East through some heavy fog in the morning (which quickly cleared up). We turned South at Espanola for the most scenic ride of the trip to Manitoulin Island and boarded the Chi-Cheemaun ferry in South Baymouth. After arriving in Tobermory, we followed the east coast of Lake Huron down to Port Elgin.
We didn't plan our route at all for the next three days, so each morning we just looked at the weather map, picked a general area, and just raced the sun as far as we could, with a few minutes of daylight to spare (three days of extended rambling perhaps?).
Once we made it through Sarnia and back into Michigan in the afternoon of the third day, we followed the Michigan thumb coastline up to Port Austin, then down the south side of Saginaw Bay and stayed in Bay City, MI.
On the fourth day, we decided to keep following the East coastline of MI through Tawas City, Alpena, Cheboygan, then back to Mackinaw City for dinner to get the same BBQ pulled pork mac & cheese at the same place we had on day 1 (it was that good!). We continued on to Petoskey, where we stayed the final night.
On our last day, we tried to stay as West as we could, and eventually made our way back home, safe and sound. As much as we want our trip to continue much further, it feels good to be home with our families.
Oh, and the bikes performed flawlessly the entire way! One important word of advice if you decide to purchase a Janus Motorcycle - make sure you book plenty of extra time when you travel for discussing Janus bikes with interested crowds. Cheers!

Beautiful bikes, and beautiful country. Even 2 years after my Janus arrived in Texas and now with almost 10K miles, I still can’t stop taking virtual rides. Love your content. See y’all on the next Ramblestream. ~Perry Halcyon 250 #884

Great video! I wish mine were running. 😢Seems nobody in southern Appalachia wants to work on it.

Long story but it isn’t running right. Janus sent me a part that I installed but that didn’t help. Then they contracted a local mechanic who kept it for a week and did nothing. They said they can’t find anyone to work on it. The next plan is for them to pick it up. It’s been six weeks of riding season so far. I’m 600 miles from Goshen but I’m tempted to trailer it to them.
