Lovely and inspiring story. I enjoyed it till the end. The Voice-over artist is really done a good job. At some points, she expressed the relevant feelings with her voice. That is awesome. All along with the story, I found many useful descriptive words. Thank you very much.

When I was 69 I won an award on art; it was a paint of my grandchildren playing in the park and the train passing behind them. I loved that paint so much and had all my faith on it. I knew that something special had to happen, and it was. After that award many good events took place. I think I felt blessed by God because of how I love my grandchildren. I live in Argentina, and I also loved your story. Thanks so much.

Nice story but... This is really a C1 level? It's so easy! 🙈 I'm planning to do Cambridge exam (C1) and in one moment I'm afraid that it's gonna be too hard and now I think just about how slow and easy this speaking is! 😅 This kind of videos we were listening on high school as B1 level 😄😂🙈

Hello Zuzana! Try this one, it’s called The Mill Girl and is definitely more difficult than this one: kzread.info/dash/bejne/nq1hksxwf860dbQ.html
I like your stories. Especially the more advanced ones. One thing is the rather confusing level explanation "Level 4 - 5 | C1". According to the CEFR standard (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) C1 is level 7-8. Could you explain?
@LovelyEnglishStories
Жыл бұрын
Hi Pierre, thanks for watching! The simple answer is that some of our earlier videos (like this one) are labelled incorrectly. We need to go through them and update them. This is a C1 story so you’re right the level needs to be a little higher. A 4-5 is more intermediate.

Hello, Okay, let's see... Anticipation - Is feeling excited about something that you are waiting to happen Blur - When something is not clear - this might be a memory, or something you cannot physically see clearly Hone - To hone in on something is to focus on it Hope this helps :)
Is it really a C1? I understood everything 🥲
