Hello , I’m sara I hope to learn a good language in English, I started to study 4 months ago. But I had a little information about vocabulary. I’m going to learn new skills like art.
He broke my favorite toy!! I'm so miffed with him😠
I think it needs some confusion as well, like in your example. I would not be miffed if someone I don't get on with doesn't invite me, but if my good friend didn't invite me, I'd say I'd was miffed about it.
In spring l like go to the picnic 🧺
Thanks a lot for more sayings) I often use proverbs and sayings in my daily life. For instance, I say “ It’s not my cup of tea “ when I don’t like anything))) This is my favourite one)😊

what mean AD
AD is an acronym and stands for Anno Domini, which is Latin for “in the year of the Lord”. Basically, AD means after the birth of Jesus. Hope this helps! BC means before Christ.
After the Dead of Christ.
@@LovelyEnglishStories thanks

@@britishenglishwithahmedibr8815 I agree with that. But you also know that Jesus Dead and then rise up after 3 days.

Yes I live in a Hustle AND Hustle place... México City...
Me at the party: Wow so much hustle and bustle here The party owner: Dude what?
😆
Do you like hustle and bustle?
I fear I'll never get used to the hustle and bustle of New York
The A1-A2 levels are pretty rare around here. It's mainly B1-B2 and up. But for learners advanced levels are much less required since by that time you are more likely to teach than learn😃
Very true! However, our intermediate and advanced stories are the most popular but we are currently working on a mini series of beginner stories 😊
💪
✌
Have you ever set someone off?
No I haven't.... It is a quite difficult phrasal verb... In my humble opinion

Don't be so rude with him or you'll set him off
Life is full of difficulties and we should keep our chin up and never give up
Can you explain the meaning of the hustle and bustle , please 🤗 Thanks
We are releasing a #shorts video tomorrow that will answer this question :)
Thanks for another top video. I have a question about the word "event" pronunciation. At 7:30 and 11:30 to me, it's like /əˈvent/, at 10:30 it's /ɪˈvent/. What is the common way to pronounce this word? I checked the Longman dictionary, and it shows /ɪˈvent/ for both American and British pronunciations. Google search "event pronunciation" sounds like "uh·vent".
This is not a particularly helpful answer but all of the above are fine - it depends on accent and sometimes where the word is in a sentence might have a slight impact on how it is pronounced. Remember Google and online dictionaries tend to go with RP pronunciation… which in reality very few people actually speak.
I will pull some strings so as to help you enroll in Oxford university
That would be fantastic 😆
